it was around 9:30 once they had reached the elf tree.

they creeped round the back to enter through the secret entrance Ben had dug around a year ago. only Ben and Holly knew about this passage.

when they were inside, Holly gestured for her friend to follow her towards the Wise Old Elf's room.

they tried to avoid the squeaky floor boards when suddenly there was a loud CREAK coming from above, ironically where his bedroom was.

'damn that was a loud fuckin fart,' Ben whispered as he continued to make his way through the tree.

Holly slapped him and & said to him, 'if you don't shut up now they will hear us.' she pointed to the ceiling & he got the point she was trying to make.

slowly, they began to scale the twisty wooden stairs. it took them a while to climb up them as they only have tiny legs.

out of breath, they reached the top & began to tie a piece of rope to the bottom of the door, so when Nanny Plum walks out she'd trip.

then, they poured the slime into a bucket & hung it over the top. it was fixed to a mechanism so that when the rope was pulled, it would fall onto her head.

'perfect,' they admired in unison as they gazed at their handy work.

'oh one last thing,' Ben threw one of the nerf guns at Holly, 'it's nerf or nothing.'

she looked down at the gun & gave Ben a glance, which told him to go lie down army style on the right hand side of the door. Holly went on the left & aimed the gun at the handle of the door.

'ready?' she asked him.

'ready.'

with that, she fired the foam bullet, perfectly hitting the handle. it swung open & what they saw they would never be able to forget.

it was horrible. it was Nanny Plum & the Wise Old Elf fondling eachother?!?!!!?

the kids slapped their hands over their eyes & began to run away but they knocked into the rope & covered themselves in slime.

'what's that?' Nanny Plum questioned as her head shot up from underneath her lover, 'oh no.'
