There's this @CaptJamyl ..... on Twitter.

You've had a crush on this fellow like forever!

Tooh....ina ruwanki? 🙄 Back to your Pilot....

This had been how Saudat engaged her with chats last night. She must have slept off with her phone in her hands.
Mufeeda smiled remembering how her friend had said she should choose between 'Muftafa and 'Musfeeda'.

Saudat was certainly a jolly friend to have.

It rained heavily in Taruwa that morning. They had to close the windows of the classrooms. The children had been fascinated. Some watched as heavy raindrops and balls of ice fell on their glass windows while others gave a barrage of questions. “Miss Mufeeda can the ice break the windows?”.....Miss Mufeeda, what do we do if the rain doesn't stop? “Does this mean there's going to be a flood?”
They had so many questions to ask and she had so many things on her mind but she just had to keep her personal life on hold until the class was over.
It wasn't school over yet when she saw Mustafa's message.

My flower girl, I'll be waiting for you by the school gate.

She looked at the time, waiting meant almost twenty minutes. The rain hadn't stopped completely, it was drizzling. She was sure he will be waiting in his car.

I'll be out as soon as possible...my kind Captain.

He was standing in front of his car parked opposite the school gate. He had on his uniform. He was holding an umbrella and looking through his phone. Her heart lifted as she spotted him. 'The captain who loves me' she said to herself. He saw her approaching and came towards her in long strides to place the umbrella over her head.
He smiled at her warmly.
She wondered why her heart still fluttered like they just met.

“I have good news for you,” he said as he parked the car in front of Mama's house.

“You do...?.....is it about my dad?”
“I'll tell you as much as I can. Start my laptop and you’ll see the saved links in my browser.”

She did as he explained and saw the links, the news items, he had saved everything he considered necessary. He watched with delight as her eyes widened just like he knew they would. He watched her open her mouth in amazement.
”Subhanallah!....” she kept saying as she was scrolling down the pages.
At a point she started crying tears of what he could recognize as tears of joy, gratitude, and relief. She stopped scrolling and sat back resting her head to take deep breaths.
He understood and appreciated her reaction. He had felt the same relief when he learned that the Dr was innocent and exonerated.
"This is my father....!  Alhamdulillah!" She stared at the pictures,  she zoomed to enlarge them and touching the screen as if to bring the man that looked at her out minto reality.
