The S.S. Pompadour a mining/cargo vessel rocketed towards the grey planetoid lv 426, it then turned with great grace elegantly driving its self into orbit with the ominous planet. Its inhabitants were Greg a muscular pale with dark hair synthetic made by Weyland-Yutani, and five miners a Hispanic man named Roberto but just called Rob for short he was a miner and the pilot of the ship, George a muscular African American who was once a marine, a pale woman with short dark hair named Layla who was once a thief who the crew took in she then abandoned the criminal life and became a miner, Ella an Indian mechanic who once worked for Weyland-Yutani but then quit and became the S.S. Pompadour's mechanic, and Emma who was once a security guard at Weyland-Yutani but saw how much of an evil company it was and quit to become a miner instead. The ship tilted towards the planetoid softly and began to enter its thin mesosphere then it dove through the stratosphere and plummeted into the upper troposphere. Rob straightened out the ships balance and flew it just below the thick grey cloud layer and scanned the misty surface for the mining outpost they were supposed to dock at. Rob let the ship soar for a bit before he found the outpost his eyes widened. It was in ruins "No it can't be" Roberto said in disbelief "what is it Rob" Emma called across the corridor she looked out the window she stared at the destroyed station she opened her mouth but at a loss of words she closed her mouth again the others looked through the window they all stared in surprise and disbelief. "What the hell happened?" Said George awestruck by the amount of damage done to the outpost "looks like we can't dock we'll have to land outside and find a way in" said Ella not too surprised the damage done was nothing compared to that of ships she's repaired before. "That will be easy the place is covered in holes!" Exclaimed Roberto. "Ok let her down" said Emma referring to the ship it descended into the jagged rocky terrain of Acheron. The thick mist cleared momentarily as the ship landed but it then returned like how the ocean does on the shoreline. The ominous station and the large ship bound together by the mysterious mist.
