The Marauders name was sacred, almost holy to the people who knew them. It symbolizes four boys who became brothers that would make everybody laugh, who were very handsome and knew it. There was James Potter, the boy with the amazing talent in quidditch and the love and patience of one Lily Evans (finally). There was Sirius Black, the petty and disgraced boy who found a real family. There was Remus Lupin, the soft and nerdy werewolf.

And there was Peter Pettigrew, the sad and insecure boy. Kind of sad that they all lost something so important to them.

James lost his life, Sirius lost his brother, Remus lost all his friends and Peter lost his family and pride.

When the Marauders were little, they had a game called 'who first', it wasn't very creative but the four brothers thought it was genius. On one question it was asked who they thought would have a kid first, they all agreed Remus, funnily enough, Remus was the last to have a child.

The oldest of the next generation was Harry James Potter, who when the other children were born, became a ringleader of trouble.

The next child was one Roman Angelo Black, his father Sirius had stated; 'he had to have a name as extravagant as his father'.

Sirius refused to name his child after a star, as tradition in the most noble house of Black ordered for one simple reason, he would not continue a tradition from another family. He now has his own family and never regrets leaving his old horrid family. But James knew that he discreetly named his son after his late brother whom Sirius used to be close with.

Then there was the only girl, Charlotte May Pettigrew, even as a baby she was an absolute sweetheart, always ten times happier when she was around, 'Hawwy' and 'Ro-Ro'.

But she could never be happier than when she was around her only uncles, who she refused to call anything but the names that James potter gave to her, uncle Moomy and uncle Dadfoot. No way was James going to give her a nickname that he knew would stick, imagine his 50th birthday and her calling him something embarrassing! Ok, he would find that cute until his dying breath but as much as he didn't want to admit it, he just couldn't find anything to make fun of with his nickname.

Sirius took it upon himself to create James' nickname, and so Uncle Bambi was created and loved by the entire family.

Harry was born a full year before the two 'next generation of Marauders', he used to be a very easy-going kid, but then, all of a sudden, he always was doing something to get the attention of Charlotte until she would give him one of her little childish laughs or start to blabber to him, he would look like he understood her but once her attention went elsewhere, he would stare at his father, like James knew exactly what the conversation was about.

James would just shrug and say, 'I never understand my adult wife, how am I going to understand a baby?!'. Harry didn't fully understand what his father was talking about either so he would just waddle to his mother who always had food just in case he was hungry.

The month before Halloween was a horrible day, death-eaters broke into the Pettigrew household in the middle of the night. They roped up Peter and his fiancée Susie, to a chair as Bellatrix Black held on tightly to a sleepy Charlotte.

Peter held on to his job of being the secret keeper long enough to see the love of his life first go dramatically insane until she died screaming out for help from the pain.

Bellatrix was entertaining the small child in another room, by the request of Lord Voldemort himself, as the sleepy baby's cry's didn't bring him joy like Susie's did, and Charlotte's cries were soon going to block out Susie's cries of pain.

Charlotte couldn't help but remind Bellatrix of her nephew Draco, not by any means that there would be any similar features, with Charlotte's chubby cheeks and blue eyes that she got from her father, or her brown coloured hair that was frizzy from just being slept on, no, she didn't have any direct features to compare to Draco's other than the utter innocence shining through her big eyes and the happy smile she shows anytime Bellatrix pulls a funny face.

Unaware that she is motherless, the child enjoys her time with 'auntie Bella'.

Peter Pettigrew, no matter if he has a few self-esteem issues from being friends with the people that everyone would rather date than him, loved those boys as if they are his family because to him, they are.

But no matter how much he said he wouldn't give the potter family up when hearing his small daughter's cry of pain from one of the Death Eaters' Cruciatus Curse and seeing that vile Bellatrix Black rock her while making a soothing noise, he honestly couldn't take it. He couldn't sit there and watch the curse take effect on her.

No matter how much he hates himself for being the death of two of his best friends, he knew that he would always make that choice again because there was nothing, nothing, more important to him than his daughter.

Voldemort held Charlotte's life in his hands and Peter would do anything for her to survive. Even if another family didn't get to, so he was branded and worked for an evil man, he asked Remus to look after Charlotte as he was useless to the dark lord and would be able to look after his niece in case she had one of her early tantrums. No matter how cute and shy little Lottie is, she will scream the house down when she is woken up from nap time.

The betrayal of one brother resulted in many things, Sirius Black taking the blame of the murder that happened in a happy household, an orphaned baby, the supposed 'murder' of one Peter Pettigrew, and one miserable man having to live his life in the background of his brothers children's life.

Harry grew up in an abusive household while not knowing his own name until he was six.

Roman grew up in two loving mother's embrace every day before he walked out to the screams of repulsion and being called 'the murderer's son' and much more offensive things that no young child should ever hear.

Charlotte grew up with her aunt from her mother's side, as the Ministry of Magic deemed Remus 'unsafe' for little Charlotte to grow up near. Her aunt Kelly tried her best, she really did but Kelly had other things to focus on such as how she would get a job, the young squib was definitely not ready for any responsibilities to be placed in her reckless life.
