That night Oscar could not sleep thinking about his new baby sister, in the middle of the night he finally had the strength to go upstairs to his room wear Grace was crying and sing to her, about 15 min later she fell alsleep but mother hadent as she heard him sing ,she felt sorry for the things she does to Oscar but then as she heard Grace cry and she got up and smacked Oscar across the face leaving a bloody nose with a scar on his face. Oscar got up and smacked mother across the face making your head turn the other way. Immediately she screamed for at least 15 minutes at him saying how he was never supposed to be born and how she made the mistake of not killing him. That night mother made Oscar sleep in the cold creepy basement, but Oscar thought about how Grace will one day a servant to mother or will she one day in mothers prize possession.
