all the members had packed whatever they required for the journey. they all sat down in the dining hall for dinner. They ate in silence, with little conversations here and there. everybody had their own thoughts in their mind, Baekhyun did try to break the suffocating silence at the table but see that even Chanyeol was also not really that responsive at last he gave up. After dinner was done, everybody retreated back to their rooms.

Sehun went outside on the balcony. the air was cold, almost freezing. he took out the photograph that Tao had given him. he took a deep breath, trying to keep his tears at bay. Finally, after all those years, the answer was right here in his palms. Luhan didn't leave him, because he wanted to. he was taken away. he was right all along. in all those years, the thing which he feared the most was that what if he was wrong about them being taken away against their will. but now, everybody knew the truth and hopefully, soon he will have Luhan in his arms again. at that thought, Sehun couldn't hold back anymore, he let few tears escape from his eyes.
" Why are you trying to hold back your tears? " Jongin asked, he wanted to talk to Sehun, he didn't know what to talk about but he just wanted to make sure that Sehun knows how he truly feels about how he made Sehun stop looking for Luhan or even mentioning the elder. Jongin had followed the younger after dinner but, the sight he saw in front of him truly broke his heart.
he couldn't imagine how hurt Sehun would've been all those years and now finally when the truth was in the light. Sehun could openly tell his feelings. he hated himself for it. all the pain that he caused his friends, Sehun even Eun ho just made it impossible for him to love himself and be easy on himself. Eun ho did say to him earlier that nobody really blames him for it, but he couldn't help but feel shame and guilt drown him as the minutes pass by. maybe if Tao and Kris were revengeful, maybe if all of them just abandoned him, he would've felt better because that's exactly what he deserves. but all of them were right here, right by his side, still supporting him.
Kris and Tao never said a single word that put the blame on Jongin, instead, they were grateful and understanding towards him. he actually expected some kind of cold treatment from the Sehun, but the younger didn't say a word to him which made him feel like Sehun was giving him cold treatment. Sehun was the same around Jongin, never said a word about the whole Luhan situation.
Sehun was startled by Jongin's voice, he quickly wiped the tears from his face and turned around to face Jongin, with a stoic face. Jongin sighed. he was the literally worst when it came to talking to people to whom he did wrong and this time it was his friend who was more like a brother to him. he quietly made his way towards the balcony railings and stood against the rails.
it was not like he didn't want to face Sehun but it was that he couldn't face Sehun after what he made the younger go through. Sehun also joined him and they looked outside to see the dark surrounding around the Caelum House. they both were quiet, Sehun kinda knew what the older was there to talk about, but still he let the older say first.
