I was having one of the best sleeps in my life when some bloody demon decided to ruin it by calling so damn early in the morning.
"Edi sanaol may load."
"ANO BA--"
"Van, si Miguel to."
"Kahit ikaw pa si red horse wala akong pake!"
"50k. Remember?"
Anong 50k ang pinagsasabi ng lokong to--,
OOOOHHHHH si boy handshake
"Ahhhw, ikaw pala yan?
"Oh tapos?"
"Baka nakakalimutan mo kung anong dapat mong gawin?" sabi niya.
Ang aburido naman nang batang to. Aga aga pa nga eh.
"Okay fiiine.
'Wag munang umidlip' huh? Tignan natin.
*flashforward*
I arrived at the hotel 10 minutes before the bridal car leave.
I saw Miguel pacing back and forth at the lobby. He looks pretty good today; wala na yung glasses and his hair doesn't look like its overdosed with gel. He was even wearing formal attire: black suit and slacks with black shiny shoes. For someone who's against this wedding, he sure is well dressed.
"Why hello Miguel, don't you look nice?" I greeted him with my sweetest smile ever. He looked kinda stressed eh.
"Vanessa! I greeted him with a smile and this is what I'll get in return?
"Did you just... raise your voice at me?" I lift my brows at him.
He heaved a deep sigh and just shook his head. "Okay, I'm sorry.
I rolled my eyes at him. "As if I need make-up"
"Yeah, of course."
I just shrugged my shoulders and went to the elevator. Better finish this ASAP. I can't wait to get my hands on that cold cash.
We reached her sister's room and saw the white laced material on the bed. It was a backless long sleeved gown, simple but pretty.
There's no one else in the room so I asked him
"Nasaan na yung ate mo?"
"Pagka-alis nila mama at papa, umalis na rin si ate." he said while looking around
"Anong sabi mo?"
"Huh? May sinabi ako? Wala ah?
When I removed my top, I instantly saw the big scar on the side of my stomach. Unknowingly, my hands traced the ugly thin line on my skin.
"Van? Ang tagal mo namang magbihis? Ano bang ginagawa mo dyan?"
I instantly removed my hands at the scar.
"Nagjajakol."
Dammit! I can't believe I spaced out again.
I just shook my head and continued changing clothes. Iin less than a minute, natapos din ako.
Paglabas ko sa CR, I saw Miguel looking weirdly at me.
Gago to. Anong akala niya sa akin? May titi?
I just rolled my eyes at his stupid question and walked to the door.
"By the way, diba sabi mo your parents will do all means to stop your sister from running away? Then that means they can still track your sister."
"Nah. My sister has connections. They can help her hide her trace so my parents can't track her. All she needed to do was to get away from here first." He explained. Okay, sanaol may connections.
"I'll be going in a separate car. Pagkarating mo sa simbahan, you know what to do."
About 10 minutes or so, we reached our destination.
The driver opened the door for me and as I stepped out of the car, my lips instantly formed into a smirk.
Let's go Vanessa, time to ruin a wedding.
Oh how I love the smell of trouble.
