I guess you can say I'm new to this town. But then again, I've been here since I was 3. Let me clear this up for you-

I was born in this town. I was bullied by these groups of kids, and they had this "leader". Or basically someone who just bossed everyone around. I'm not completely sure what his name is. Anyways, My parents left me when I was younger, so I lived with my Uncle. Since I kept coming home with some new kind of bruise everyday, my Uncle Steve finally decided to move us away from the city. But now we're back.

Let's take this from the top.

"Ana.. Ana wake up!" My brother kept shaking my shoulder. Great. My first day of school at Palo Verde High. It was already a quarter through the year, and I've already switched schools 2 times.

Now, don't get me wrong. It's not my fault that we're constantly moving. It's just that sometimes my older brother doesn't know how to not get into fights.

Once I finished my shower, I head back into my room to pick out what to wear. I should probably look good for my first day. I guess you never know when you-

"Found it!" I shouted. I finally found my Blink-182 shirt! So, as I was saying, I guess you never know who you'll meet when you go back to your old school with horrible memories. I mean, what are the odds I'll meet someone I hate. Probably, like, 1 to 12000 student.

Room 524? Okay, this should be easy. I just have to-

"Ouch!"

"Oh, oh my gosh, I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-" There I go. Being clumsy as usual.

This kid kept staring at my Blink shirt. I mean, I guess I didn't really care. I'd either get made fun of, or asked who that band was.

"I'm Ryan.. Ross." He gave some sort of really stupid wave to me. Was someone really being THIS nice to me? It's really weird.

"Ana Marie"

He gave me some sort of confused look. And then he sort of just.. left. Rude, much?

"Bye, then!" I called after him. I guess making new friends is going to be harder than I though. I picked up my books, then headed off to class.

"Class, we have a new student that will be joining us today. Her name is Ana." I swear, this teacher over here couldn't get any more dull than he is. I looked around the room for a seat, and there were actually some familiar faces. I was really hoping they wouldn't notice me.

There he was. That mohawk of brown hair. A Ryhawk? Yeah, that works. A Ryhawk.

I guess he knew I saw him, because he started giving me this really weird look. I'm guessing he thinks he's probably too cool for me. Oh, well.

I took a seat next to him and took out my books. I could hear whispering behind me. Great, I guess people did recognize me.

"Nice shirt, Ana." I turned around to see. Somebody is actually complimenting me? This day isn't turning out so bad after all.

"Thanks," I said, a little more enthusiastically than I should have, "I'm Ana."

"I'm Brendon.." That was funny. Brendon had the same name as the one guy who used to bully me. Weird, right?

"Urie."

My jaw dropped. "Uh, what?"

"Brendon Urie. Y'know, we knew each other back in Middle School!" I raised my hand for the teacher.

"Uh, can I move seats? Please?"

"Sorry, Ana. That's the only seat left." Shit. Just my luck. I sit in front of the guy I hate. And next to someone who probably thinks I'm crazy. This should be fun.

"You're that one kid from Summerlin Middle School! The one who.. Oh. The one who used to push my down and bully me? Yeah, I think I remember you!" I don't think I'll ever forget his face. Ever.

"I.. Uh, I-" Nothing to say, eh? I was secretly dying on the inside of laughter.

"Do you want to sit with us at lunch?" The Ryhawk kid was actually saying something to me!

"Us?"

"Yeah! Me, Brendon, & a few friends!" I looked over at Brendon. The fact that he was smiling at me kind of scared me.

"Okay.. Yeah sure! I'd love to!" What the hell was I doing.
