I immediately wake up. I am in the cafeteria, but it is empty. On the table in front of me, there are two bowls. One with cheese, the other holds a knife. A voice of a woman behind me says, " Choose." I know what Candor Rose would do. She would pick the cheese and be honest and good, blah blah blah blah. But that isn't real Rose. Before I can even think, before I can even question myself, I grab the knife. The scene changes.

I am in a cave, with Peter. Ugh. Water is surrounding us. There is a small pocket of air, only big enough for one. I don't want Peter to survive. But he can't die. I find a way for my head to crane around for air while he just stays there, like his unhelpful self. The scene changes again.

I am on a bus, holding on to a rail. There is a man sitting, holding a newspaper.
"
Do you know this man?" He asks. It is a picture of Peter. I resist the urge. I am good at it.

" No."

" You're lying! You could save my life!" He yells

" No." I say sternly.

The man glares at me," Then I will die."

And for one last time I simply say, " No. I don't know him."

My eyes flutter open. The dauntless woman looks worried. What was my result?

" Would you like to know your result?"

" Um, Yes."

And the one word that I most dreaded came from her mouth, " Candor."

My head was spinning. Candor? Candor?!?!?!! I did anything but tell the truth! Candor! I think I fainted because when I woke, I was in a hallway. The dauntless lady, Tori I think, was looking over me.

" Look you must stay silent," she says," But those weren't your results." Whew!!

" They were inconclusive." Inconclusive? " You had more than one aptitude. You are Dauntless and Erudite."

Whoa. " What is that supposed to mean?" I say, anger, frustration, and curiosity all fuming in my voice

" You're Divergent. Considered dangerous to the faction system. If anyone asks your results, say you were Candor.

" No one would believe that."

" Then make them." I think that over. Can I make myself so unbelievable, it's believable? I can. Because I have.

" Now go home, and choose wisely." She states ith a small smile, then a serious face. And then she leaves.
