"NO!!!!" I scream out into the darkness of my chambers right as I startle awake, Sir Leon slams the door to my chambers open in a ready-to-fight stance with his sword in his hand.
"Lady Mira, what's the matter?" He says as he then lights a couple of the candles around my room so I could see him through my tears that were slightly blurring my eyesight now.
"Get Arthur, Please Sir Leon!!" I cry out as he rushes to Arthurs' chambers now. The sobs keep coming as time past until I hear my name being called from beside me.
"Hey, shhh, he's gone he won't hurt you, none of them will hurt you again, I promise you." He coos to me as I feel Arthur's arms wrap around me as he sits on the edge of my bed holding me as I cry. He runs his fingers through my hair as I slowly calm down enough as he stares at me, worry in his eyes.
"He's dead, I killed him." He tells me again, shushing me as I start crying again and shaking in his arms this time too. For the life of me, I felt like that nightmare was so real to me. He keeps whispering that everything is okay, that I'm safe which slowly helps after a while before he lets me go we talk for a while.
"How about I take you out riding tomorrow, It always helps me?" He asks me, I agree to go after a while. He and I talk until I fall asleep again, he stays a while to make sure I was okay before going over to where Sir Leon is outside of my door from what I can hear they talk for a short time before I'm completely asleep.
"Emma where did these come from?" I ask my maid as I look in the mirror at the riding tunic and britches that supposedly Arthur gave Emma when I was still asleep.
"My lord said that they were from the Lady Morgana, saying that she didn't want them anymore." Emma tells me as she finishes braiding my hair, we hear a knock coming from my door.
"Come in." I say the door opens as Merlin enters my chambers, bowing his head towards me.
"Ah, Merlin how are you this morning?" I ask him, smiling at him, as well as Emma as she leaves.
"I'm good my lady, and you?" He asks.
"I'm sad to say that I didn't sleep very well last night, but I think going for this ride with Arthur would help me this morning." I tell him, it's nice to have him around and be able to talk to him even if he's Arthur's manservant.
"Nightmares again?" He asks, only for me to nod.
"I can talk with Gaius about maybe making a sleeping draught for you as he does for the Lady Morgana?" He asks. I notice the worry behind his actions now.
"Yes, please also I think we mustn't keep Arthur waiting too long." I smile back at him before the two of us walk out of my chambers together and then down to the main square of the castle seeing Arthur with two horses and guards holding the reins for him. Arthur meets the two of us halfway as he takes my hand, smiling at me as he leads me to where the horses are waiting.
"Mira, you still manage to always look beautiful in anything that's for sure." Arthur compliments me, Merlin must've heard this as we hear a laugh coming from behind us, Arthur actually glared at him making him stop.
"Go clean my chambers, Merlin!" he orders Merlin to go away, he does what he's told walking back into the castle I narrow my eyes slightly at Arthur once he helps me up into a saddle of an amazing-looking black horse.
