The next morning I noticed that Arthur had Merlin leave a note for me saying that they would be on patrol with the knights for the whole day, only getting back by dinner time now. It was nice of him to leave a note at least as I read it when eating breakfast with Morgana and Uther in one of the great halls. Gwen served us our food and drinks as well. Uther had an idea of having me, Morgana, and Arthur go out for a ride together tomorrow which I thought was nice of the King. Uther was pulled away to meet with some of the court's council members so I spend some time with Morgana and Gwen. Morgana actually gave me and Gwen some of her old dresses that she doesn't like to wear so much now. After a while, Morgana would tell me stories of what it was for her and Arthur when they were growing up together. I couldn't help but miss those short times when my brother actually seemed to love me as a sister instead of his punching bag in a way. I hate to think of him and my family that way at all, but with how they treated me I understand why I feel this way.
My maid Emma joins us a little later in the day which was nice because I feel that she and I are becoming very good friends lately too. We went out of the castle for a little walk out around the town looking in some of the shops that are there, Morgana wanted to be nice and have the royal seamstress make me a couple of more dresses so she was grabbing the fabric that I picked out for them so we could go over to the seamstresses' chambers to give the fabric later. We walk over to where the knights are training seeing the two who were the ones that stayed at my doors last night by the orders of Sir Leon. We then went back into the castle as the rain started to fall, I love rain and storms because I feel calmer when their happening, that got me thinking back to one of my very good friends who were also a royal in the kingdom I lived in, her father was one of my Father's council members and who fought by his side against Uther's kingdom. She and I would always love watching the rain falling from the sky seeing the lightning and hearing the roll of thunder each time. Her name was Kathrine, I miss her greatly but she and her whole family were killed because when my brother became king he thought it was right and okay to torture the ones who were nice and cared about me. After he did that, I told him that I was going to hate him for the rest of my life which was the last time I ever saw him or my family as I ran out of the castle we lived in. I have a lot of books in my room so all of us stayed in my chambers for the rest of the day. We had lunch together there as well, it's nice to have people who actually care about you again and I couldn't stop thinking about how much my life has changed too.
Morgana had wanted to get a quick nap in the afternoon so she and Gwen went back to her room. I could tell that Morgana needed the rest because she was also having a hard time sleeping. So I also took a rest in my bed for maybe two hours or so, before I woke up hearing horse hooves clapping on the stone of the castle's square from outside of my open window by my desk that's in my chambers. I see Arthur and Merlin as well as the number of knights that Arthur took with them, they all dismount from their horses, and I can see him lightly kissing the nose of the dark brown colored horse he rode today. They then walk away from their horses after having some guards take them over to the stables as they walk back into the castle. I was happy to see that everyone was back and safe from the group who went out to patrol, I see a bottle and a note on it from Gaius saying that this is my sleeping tonic and hoping I would sleep better sitting on my dining table closer to the middle spot where it faces the fireplace that's in my chambers too. Out of nowhere, there's a white-hot pain running through my whole body, too painful to bear as I fall to the floor, my head hitting something hard as I'm slowly surrounded by darkness.

My eyes flutter open slowly as I feel a gentle hand placing a rag on my forehead, seeing Gaius and Gwen above me worry on their faces now.
