Leaving Paris

Marinette's POV June

I'm late!I'm late!Why me of all people has to be late?Oh right because I had to put makeup to cover the hickey Cat gave me.I can't believe I let him do that!Luka never tried and was fine by me!

I think while running to the the train station.When I finally got there I see Alya waiting for me outside the Startrain.I get to Alya and she tells me that my seat is next to Adrien.

-"You are early girl why is that?"

-"Early?No I'm late"-She takes out her phone.

-"See early,it's 7:45"-Alya says while putting the phone close to my face.

Tikki tricked me to come early.I should thank her later.

-"Oh.Could we sit together in the bus on the way to the hotel?"

-"Of course girl"-We entered the train and took our seats.I sat next to Adrien.

-"Hey Mari"

-"Hey Adrien.How are you today?"

-"I don't know really"

-"Why what happened?"-He looked nervous all of a sudden.

-"It's embarrassing for me really"

-"It's okay you don't have to tell me if you don't want to"

-"I'll tell you but before I do promise you won't tell anyone not even Nino?"

-"Yep I promise"-I smiled at him a reassuring smile.He didn't want to meet my eyes.I guess that what he is about to say is really uncomfortable for him.

-"So...umm last Saturday night I-I gave a girl a hickey on her neck"-For a moment I was shocked for two reasons

1.It was the same day Cat gave me a hickey on my neck.

2.I thought Adrien was way too innocent to do these kinds of things.

Say something Marinette.

Adrien slowly looked up to meet my eyes as if waiting for a reassuring response but I couldn't find any.All I could say was one thing.

-"What was her reaction"-I was pretty sure the girl was internally screaming of joy because he was the one and only Adrien Agreste.

-"Well we didn't do anything else because I snapped back to reality and left like a coward after saying sorry to her.-This I could imagine easily.A lot a people who do it by impulse flee if they're in this kind of situation.

-"How about we go exploring tommorow with Nino and Alya?"-He nodded knowing I wanted to change the subject.

-"When are you going to tell me why you were sad on Thursday?"-I sighed knowing  that I had to tell him and Nino sooner or later.

-"Well the day before Luka broke up with me and I was still sad on Thursday"-He grumbled softly but I heard him anyway.

-"I simply don't understand why you have the need to be protective brother for me.I can take care of myself"-The last part came out more harshly then I meant it to.

-"Well I umm...never had any siblings before but I always wanted one"

-"And you feel like I'm a younger sister to you?"

-"You're barely younger than me!"

-"Not true"-I said while smirking.

-"I'm one month older than you!"-He said outraged.I couldn't help but laugh.His head turned in my direction.His expression turned quickly to realization.

-"You said that on purpose didn't you"-I kept smirking.

-"What do you think"

-"I'll take that as a yes"

-"You guessed right"-A sudden fear went through my mind.

What if Cat told him what happened on Saturday night?Was Cat really sorry?

-"Mari what are you thinking about?"

-"I wasn't thinking about anything"

-"You looked like you were thinking something awful"

-"Like I said I wasn't thinking anything"

-"You don't trust me do you"-That sentence reminded me of that night.If I hadn't told him of what I was thinking he probably wouldn't have done what he did.I told him just because he told me the same sentence.All because I wanted him to feel trusted.

-"You sure look like your thinking about something...or someone"-Then last part was mostly to himself.I decide to tell him what I'm thinking.

-"Actually that girl wasn't the only one that got a hickey"

-"What do you mean?"

-"What I mean is that C-Cat gave me a hickey"-I confessed and pointed to my right side of my neck.He stretched a little from my left side to see what I was pointing at.

-"Uhh...I don't see anything"-I mentally facepalmed remembering I covered it up with makeup this morning before coming over to the Startrain station.

-"The train will leave in three minutes"-The diver announced.

-"I had to cover up so no one could see it"

-"Not even Alya?"-He asked clearly shocked.

-"I can't risk it.If she finds out she gonna integrate me to death plus she might tell our friends.And they will tell their other friends and so on until all of Paris knows!"

-"I guess that might be true"-Ms.Bustier stood up from her seat.

-"Students of room 607 you will have to have a roommate with you in the hotel.Sabrina is sick so she won't be able to join us"

Wish it was Lila.

-"I'll be giving your roommate's name and room number when we get there okay"

-"Okay-Everyone said in response.-And with that Ms.Bustier sat back down.The train started to move and I felt sleepy so far I had to be patrolling more than usual to make up for at least a little bit of the month I'll be away.My parents will come back tomorrow and I already told them I was going to London for this month.I turned my head towards the window as Paris stayed behind us.
