- One Man Alone - (MCYT SCP AU)

Chapter 1; Restart.

Tap..tap..tap..tap.

Drip..drip..drip..drip.

The sound of a tapping foot, and water droplets filled the man's head. It was calming..it felt warm to him. Felt like home.

"Wilbur..?" A women hummed, scanning her ID card slowly, stepping into a padded room. Making eye contact with a man, sitting on the floor. "Wilbur!" She softly smiled, walking over as the SCP smiled widely. "N.. Niki!" Wilbur smiled, his voice sounded so..close to theirs. It changed over time, especially all the things they put him through. Raspy as ever, but sounded so soft at the same time.

"You're arm is getting better." Niki smiled, grabbing his arm and rubbing her hand on it. "Mhm." Wilbur responded, before throwing himself into a hug. Nuzzling her neck as the spikes on his cheeks poked hers. "Ow! That.." Niki cut herself off with a giggle, and a nudge. "Oh..j-jesus, I-I'm sorry!" Wilbur apologize immediately, scooting back and away from her. Messing with his thumbs as he broke eye contact, making it with the floor instead. He was quite nervous to hurt, nor touch anyone after his spikes and his appearance changed. He felt like he would harm someone..he felt..scared.

"Now Wil, I can't really stay for long, I'll see if I can get Fundy or Er.." "NO!"

Niki blinked silently, tilting her head. "You don't want Eret in here?" She chuckled, moving her hand up to her mouth in a playfully shocked motion. "F-fuck..Eret!" Wilbur shouted, crossing his arms, humming in response after. Staring at Niki in the eyes.

Niki stepped back, Wilbur's eyes were just pitch black now. Just.. horrific to look at. Niki put her foot out, spinning on it back around to the exit. "Well, he'll be here anyways Wil, Goodnight." Niki said, as she locked the door. As she did she heard distrubing noises await her ears.

It was coming from outside, everyone new always regrets not bringing some type of things to block out the groaning and screams. Either from humans, or SCP's, it's hard too the tell the difference now.

-Flash Back-

"Why did I let him go, WHY DID YOU STOP ME?" Niki screamed, her tears staining her cheeks as she yelled at Fundy and Eret. The two's eyes also watering as they stood at a window. All three not daring to look inside. "WE, COULD'VE DONE SOMETHING, WE'VE COULD'VE SAVED THEM BOTH AND WILBUR." She snapped, pushing her hands onto her eye lids, rubbing them roughly as she felt her wrist being grabbed. Looking up, she made eye contact with Eret.

"Niki, I know you miss him, but he's not gone..atleast not in the mean time. Just look at the bright side. He's still here right?"

"For now at least.."

-End Of Flashback, now with Wilbur :)-

Wilbur threw his feet up onto the wall, humming random tunes he could think of at the moment. He mind difted off, trying his best to remember the times before. After his..'Testing', his head was all fuzzy, feeling like it was hit with a hammer at least 42 times!

Wilbur felt cold fluids prick the edge of his tears, feeling tears fall down towards the ground; Rolling off his soft red tinted cheeks as his nose warmed up too a burning feeling. Covering his face with his hands, kicking at the padded walls and flooring. Grabbing his legs and pulling them into his chest, laying sideways on the floor as tears flowed from his eyes. Letting his hands limp, it felt like he wasn't in control. Not knowing who..he was.

"Where am I?"

"Who's here?"

"What's going on?!"

"I'm scared. Hello?"

Wilbur questioned, his mind going blank as he laid still on the floor. His eyes snapped back, as well as his thoughts. Throwing himself up, hyperventilating in the process. Beginning to grab to his hair as he heard the door unlock too the office once more..and a man coming inside.

Who am I? Who are you?

BABABA- HELLO! Thanks for reading this short little introduction too the new book, let me explain a bit if you're confused.

Wilbur, is now having problems with control over himself, now having 'blankouts' as the sciencsit call it, meaning he blanks out and falls limp, atleast that what's they all know..for now ;).
