The slight mist blew through the trees of the hidden forest and made its way to a small village where happy giggles and pleasant ruckus could be heard from. Stalls were placed in multiple free spaces in front of closed shops and houses, decorations giving them an eternal beauty and pleasant atmposphere. The villagers were either behind stalls and selling kindly items to the passangers or simple persons who were wearing majestic yukatas and were walking around.

Specifically, on the edge of the cliff was sitting a tiny girl whose brown locks were falling freely on her back and her pale eyes were staring straight forward her, at the sea which was expanding for miles away. She was swinging her legs back and forth childishly; her appearance was showing that she was around the young age of six.

"Misao" a male voice called behind her which made the said girl turn and look at the person who was calling her name. He was a boy at her age with extremely pale skin and yellow glowing eyes which were looking directly into hers. He was wearing as well a yukata and had his black long hair free, making them fall down his mid-torso.

A small smile etched Misao's face and she waved at him friendly. "Orochimaru-kun"

The boy who was called Orochimaru took a seat besides her, aimlessly staring at the blue sea. Then, he made a sound of annoyance and looked at her with half-closed eyes, almost like glaring at her, "I told you, add no suffixes after my name. Orochimaru is just fine" he scolded and received a soft giggle from the girl besides him.

The two of them stayed in silence for a few moments, admiring the night which was overtaking the daylight and the buzzing sounds the conversations of people were causing. They were in their village's festival, a special festival for its citizens which was held every year. Konohagakure sure knew how to organize fastivals and what-not, how to make its villagers know what means peace and quiet for once.

The first one to break the silence was Misao who's eyes were glimmering with excitement, "Ano, Orochimaru! Do you want to go and play a game in a stall? We can find Tsunade-san and Jiraiya-kun to join us!" she proposed eagerly, smiling softly at the expressionless boy.

"Tch. Tsunade and Jiraiya are spending time with their families so they won't come. And I don't want to go to play a stupid game. . . Oi, how can you always keep that smile on your face?" the black head pointed out, looking at her bright and comforting smile which was always laying on her face, as long as he could recall himself knowing the girl.

Misao tapped her chin in deep thought and smirked; she knew now how to convince him to play with her. "If you want to know, you must come and play at least a game with me"

"I told you I don't want to"

"Psss, you're such a coward! You are afraid that you'll lose against me, aint ya?" Orochimaru's eye twitched slightly, giving to the girl the signal that her plan had worked out. Orochimaru huffed and grabbed her hand, pulling her up and towards a random stall his eyes had landed on. Misao giggled softly and followed her friend behind, ready to have some fun.

. . .

"Uwaah, that was awesome!" the brunette exclaimed as she watched in utter surprise Orochimaru hitting all the five targets. They had been playing this game for over half an hour and Orochimaru had finally hit all the targets, completing the game.
