The two teens made their way down the Ferris wheel, eyeing each other from across their brooms. The landing wasn't exactly pleasant for Noelle when she stumbled and fell into the stone path, making Fred holler with laughter before running to the girl who was rolling on the ground in tears from laughing so hard.
Fred laid down beside her as they starred up at the sky, a hobby that they seemed to have accustomed together.
"Do you think things will always be like this?" The girl asked looking slightly over and up at the boy to her right.
"What?" He questioned not taking his eyes off the sky for a long while until his eyes finally met hers.
"Do you think things will stay like this?" She repeated, "I mean all the cute dates, and the teaching you how to skate, and the cuddling and reading together...do you think it will always be like this?"
He sighed before turning his gaze back up to the sky but closing his eyes. "I couldn't tell you... I mean we can hope...but growing up is just a part of life ya know? We grow up and the things we enjoy now, we might not get a chance to enjoy in the future..."
The girl looked at the boy one last time before averting her eyes away and to the clouds over her. "I'm scared." She muttered, closing her eyes and sighing before turning back to the red headed boy who was now looking at her.
"Of what?" He asked, turning on his side and balancing himself on his elbow.
"Growing up." She replied.
"Why?"
"I don't want to lose this.." she grabbed his hand, "to lose us...what if..with time and age we grow apart? What if you grow tired of me and don't want anything to do with me..."
The boy laughed at her silly words before standing up and stretching out his hand, which she reluctantly took. He ran with her all the way back to the blanket where they sat down beside the bouquet of flowers port key.
"I promise you...with everything I have inside me...I will never let that happen." He stated looking at her and gesturing for her to take the bouquet in her hand, as they grabbed it at the same time.

The next couple weeks went by in a blur and before they knew it they had received their Hogwarts letters. Seeking out the money their parents, or godparent, had left them for school shopping assuming the wouldn't be back yet, They took to the fireplace sending them straight to diagon alley.
They went their separate ways, the Weasley kids splitting the money before leaving with their partner. Fred and Noelle had went with George and Ron and Harry went with Ginny.
"I reckon we get matching quills." Noelle stated with sass, searching the shop looking at the various school items. Fred looked at the girl and laughed as he was dragged behind her hand in hand.
"Oh if it isn't Weasley 1,2 anddd..." the voice behind us trailing off before we stopped and turned to face it.
"Ah, just as I suspected, Noelle Black." Malfoy beamed from behind them, his black suit complimenting the shops antique dark state.
"Oh if it isn't Malfoy Jr. how's your summer been? Worked on your daddy issues lately?" Noelle questioned with a smirk as Malfoy sneered at her.
"Just wait! My father-"
"My FaThEr WiLl HeAr AbOuT tHiS" the girl mocked him, brushing a price of her black hair behind her ear. "Shut it Malfoy, none of us are in the mood to hear your endless snide comments." She rolled her eyes and reconnected her hand with Fred's before pulling him back to the quills, George following swiftly behind.
"Just so you know." He piped up from behind us, "If you ever find your senses, my dorms always open."
And that's all it took for Fred's hand to escape hers and to lunge at the blonde boy behind him. Being 2 years older and almost 5 inches taller didn't help Dracos case when he was on the floor, underneath Fred Weasley. It took George, Noelle, and 2 store clerks to pull Fred off of him and hold him back.
Draco stood up and wiped off the remaining dust that lingered on his suit before wiping his thumb across his lip, tasting the blood that dropped down. He eyed Fred with a smirk, then with a wink in Noelles direction, turned to leave.
"IF YOU EVER COME NEAR HER AGAIN ILL HAVE YOUR ARSE DRACO MALFOY!" Fred shouted, trying to get release from the 4 people holding him back.
Draco turned around with the same smirk on his face, "is that a threat?"
Fred slowly straightened up, brushing the arms off his body and slowly walked up to the boy.
"No." He paused, "it's a promise." And with that he grabbed Noelles had and led her out of the shop, the quills would have to wait for another time, but for now he felt victorious and that's all that mattered.
