13 | ɴᴏᴛ ғʀɪᴇɴᴅs ɴᴏʀ ʟᴏᴠᴇʀs

"Ariana's new album is giving me live." Kourtney dramatically stated and nini laughed.
"Have you listened to all her songs?"

"No, but I will! Right after I get home." Nini said as she stopped at her locker. "I miss the old days honestly."

"What do you mean?" Kourtney asked as she opened her locker, nini sighed.

"Well the days Ricky, Big red, you and I would all hang out. The easy days, now everything is complicated because of Gina." Nini explained and when she mentioned Gina she scoffed harshly.

"Yeah, I miss that too. But sometimes good things come to an end. And I guess that end is you and Ricky not being together." Kourtney said and nini nodded.

"You're honestly the best friend. I love you." Nini said and quickly gave Kourtney a hug.

"Uh oh.." Kourtney said as she pulled away from the hug. "Ricky and Gina speaking."
Nini turned around to look at what Kourtney was talking about and when she saw she sighed.

"As he said, we are completely done." Nini shrugged, "he can do whatever."

Kourtney nodded her head to Nini's statement, after getting their books the two girls walked to their classes passing Ricky and Gina in the hall ways, as nini passed Ricky he gazed at her for a quick second and looked back at Gina. Gina noticed and rolled her eyes. "You deserve better." The girl said and Ricky sighed.

"Yet I only want nini." Ricky said and at that statement Gina got frustrated. "you okay?"

"Yeah.." Gina paused, clearing her throat. "I'm fine I just need to get to class." She continues, clearly not fine. She hated how she kept throwing her shot with Ricky and he is continually putting it down and still wanting nini.

Gina knows herself that Nini or Ricky isn't that problem in their relationship, it's her. She knows, but that's besides the point in what she's trying to do. Gina is trying to make Ricky as her own boyfriend, but clearly her "plan" isn't working. Because Ricky is in love with nini

"Okay see you later." Ricky lastly says before Gina walked to class.

It was her against Nini and somehow Nini kept winning the boy, Gina shook the thought out of her head and focused in class.

"Yall, I really miss nini." Ricky complained.

"Dude it's only been 3 days, you guys need to work on yourselves." Big red dis sand Ricky rolled his eyes.

"I don't think it's us! We literally have been fine with our "relationship" until-" Ricky paused, he realized something just now.
"Until....gina." Ricky said as he quickly turned his head to look at Gina who was doing her homework at the lunch table.

As soon and Gina realized everyone at their lunch table was looking at her, she shot her head up at looked at them back. "Do y'all need something from me?"

"Yes, actually." Ricky bluntly said. "Tell me your real intentions with me Gina."

Gina scoffed and looked Ricky directly in the eyes, "I honestly find you interesting and I just want to be your friend." Gina smiled while keeping eye contact with him.

Ricky saw that Gina was keeping eye contact which meant she wasn't lying, he broke the eye contact and sighed, "so what happened with me and nini?"

"Maybe you guys aren't meant for each other." Gina said.

Ricky sighed and dropped his head on the lunch table, "are we really over?" He asked himself.
