CHAPTER 4

------ after some days ------

(Y/N)'s POV
So, finally the day came. We, the newbies are gonna go on a Titan expedition for the first time. Yeah, that's really cool but I'm kinda nervous too. But that's the reason why we are here. To save mankind, to defeat those demons, those Titans. "Omg, this is finally happening!" Eren shouted with excitement. "Yes, it is happening." I said. "I hope this will be good" Historia said. "It will be, don't worry dear!" Ymir said protectively. Armin looked very tensed so, I went to him and said "hey, it's gonna be fine, don't worry". He gave a friendly smile in reply. After a few seconds Hanji came practically jumping and shouting,"are you guys ready? It's time to move. Let's goooo!". Jean came to me and said "be careful (y/n)". "I'll be. You also be careful" I said smiling. "Yeah...I'll try" was his reply. He's a horseface but a cute one! We finally reached our destination. Omg, these guys are so tall! I've seen Titans so close. Why do thses guys have such wierd faces! We were taught how to use the 3d maneuver gears and this place was full of big ass trees so it was easy for us.

------ after some time -----

I guess I have slayed 7 Titans until now. Everyone were doing their job efficiently. Some were better than me, even on the first day, for example Mikasa. She was so good. I have assisted killing 8 Titans until now mostly with Armin, Connie or Sasha. I was kinda tired now. So, I decided to rest just for second. I got on a tree and sat on a branch on a minute or so as I saw heichou. He has literally slayed half of the Titans we all have slayed until now. He was unstoppable. He is so good at this. Maybe, that's why he's humanity's strongest. How is he so perfect! I was stunned... I was amazed. I don't know how many seconds did I stare at him like him. I just couldn't take my eyes of him. The way he slayed the Titans was something out of this world. He is unbelievable! I came back to reality when I got hitted really hard by a Titan. What an asshole! I still got up and tried to fight that piece of shit but it was too hard. There was very little gas left in my 3d maneuver gear. The Titan didn't stop. I thought maybe these were the last moments of my life as I saw a figure coming towards me...then everything went black!

------- Levi's POV -------

I saw one of our cadets heavily injured on the ground. I went to her. It was (y/n). I had already killed the Titan there. I came down to her. "Oi Brat, you okay?" I said. I heard her mumbling something but couldn't really get it. Of course, she was not in a condition to walk. So I carried her in a bridal style. I heard Erwin say "THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY. TIME TO MOVE". I carried her all the way. Yeah, she was light so no big deal. I saw all the cadets look at me with their mouths open. I mean,...whatever brats! Useless people. I looked at (y/n). Her hair was in a bun, it was messy. She had her lips slightly parted apart. She looked so peaceful and quiet...not like the usual (y/n), always chit chatting, smiling. She...she kinda looked cute! "Isn't she cute?", Four eyes appeared out of nowhere and whispered in my ear. "Shut up four eyes. But yeah, maybe she is a little cute!". I could see Jean, the horseface cursing me. That guy is serious about (y/n)! Whatever! We all rode to the headquarters. (y/n) and other cadets were sent to the
infirmary.

------- after a few hours -------

(Y/N)'s POV

I woke up with my whole body aching. Parts of me didn't wanted to wake up, and parts of me didn't want to stay like this anymore. I slowly got up. "Ahh. Damn this hurts!" I said. I saw there were bruises over my body, there was a fracture on my left arm and gawwd my head was aching hard! "How are you feeling now cadet? You did a good job today." I heard a familiar cold voice. I turned to see captain Levi looking at the night sky through the window. "T-thank you sir, I'm fine". "Where are they, I mean where are my friends?" I asked. "Hmm.. most of them have slept or in the other infirmary rooms". I sighed in relief. "Then why are you up so late?" I asked him. "I don't really like to sleep". I was silent for a few minutes. My head was aching so bad. I said "ahh, my head is hurting badly!" "Maybe it's because the deep cut you got there" Levi said. "Oh..." I touched my forehead and felt the cut there". "I'll bandage it" I said and went to grab the bandages but of course it was hard to get up and do it with one hand. Ouch! I got down of the little bed. Levi looked at me and came to hold me cause I was practically limping. "Are you mad stupid brat.  You're said to have rest for today. C'mon go to bed''. "O-okay sir". I went and sat on the bed. He came up to me with the bandage. "Let me do it for you" he said. Whaaaaat! Oh that's...I don't know how to react. "That's so sweet of you!" I said. He cupped my face and said "look up". I looked at him. He was slowly bandaging. He wasn't that bad as people said. He was infact good, a good person. "Why were you staring at me today?". He asked not looking at me.okay...whyyy..i thought he didn't see me then.  "Um..I don't remember doing that!". He looked into my eyes and said, "so you don't remember huh?". I got sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo damn nervous. "Uh, I don't know sir I don't". He came really close. "Cadet (y/n) I know you're lying!". Okay, now it was impossible to resist. I closed my eyes and quickly said, "Yes sir I was staring at you...I didn't want to but I was...". I opened my eyes to see Levi smirk at me! My cheeks turned pink! "Good night brat" he said and went away. After he went away Jean came after some time. "Hey (y/n) are you okay? I was so worried about you" he said. "I'm totally fine. Don't worry. What about you?" I said. "I'm good, just got a a lot of cuts". "Do you know what happened after I got unconscious?". Jean told me the whole story. He sounded kinda jealous all the time but...you know what I'm kinda happy. Maybe I'm just developing some feelings...towards Levi, although he's our captain...but I... I just still don't know but yeah, I like him.
