Chapter 1 Welcome home

" Hime..why?! "  Orihime's eyes widened in fear. How could she... how could she kill him. Not even once she thought of harming him. Not even once she tried to, until now. Orihime cried in pain as she gently place her hands on the man's face, shaking in fear. "Ku-kurosaki-kun... no.. please.. don't..no..NO!" 

NO!  Orihime screamed in fear. Its been months since she's been dreaming the same dream. The dream that keeps her up till morning and a dream she fears that will turn into reality.  She sigh looking at her alarm clock.  "It's 3:15 am, its still early... " She sigh again knowing that she won't be able to sleep anymore, not after that nightmare. She got up on her bed and went out for a walk. She hesitated first but why not? Its not like anyone can harm her, she have her Shun Shun Rikka that will protect her and Tatsuki gave her karate lessons too. Her best friend told her that her level is at black belters, there's no way she can't protect herself. She cannot let others protect her again. 

As she walk on the street, she was startled when a cat leap above her. "ohh! thats so cool! I wish I could do that!" the innocent woman thought and fallowed the cat as she tried to climb up on the ledge and hopefully able to walk through it. "this is sooo childish! what am I doing" she said to herself, giggling at the cat that were staring at her strangely. "it must be thinking I'm weird" she giggled again at the thought of it might speak in question.  The cat carried out what it was doing and jump down on the ground. Orihime pouted just when I was doing great walking on the top of the ledge, she thought. "mou... that's not fair!" Orihime leaped down and stared at the cat who were staring at her as well. Orihime smiled at the cat who seemed to finally acknowledge her as a friend. Orihime walked joyfully with the cat beside her and the both of them smiled at each other. As strange as it may sound but Orihime knew that the cat smiled at her.  

As they walked  on the street, Orihime felt the huge pressure coming on their way. She abruptly grab the cat gently and comfort it. "animals can feel the pressure of those things too"  Orihime looked at the cat and smiled, reassuring it that she will protect it no matter what.  

As the pressure gets closer, Orihime prepared her Shun Shun Rikka to shield herself and the cat. She ran towards the pressure and command Santen Kesshun to protect them from the first blow. The monster easily broke the shield but didn't expect the next attack. Orihime command Tsubaki to attack the monster. Tsubaki surrounded the monster and attacked its final blow.Tsubaki has improved its powers and became sharper than a knife. He became much more stronger and solid after all the training she did. She couldn't depend on her Santen Kesshun all the time to protect her. She need to attack as well. As the monster dissolve into ash, another huge pressure appeared but this time, it wasn't monstrous, it was more comforting and welcoming. Orihime smiled in joy for she knows who it was. 

"Inoue! are you alright?" Kurosaki asked Orihime worriedly.  "I'm fine kurosaki-kun." she smiled at him. Orihime looked at the cat who is coddling around her arms comfortably.  " oh, look kurosaki-kun! isn't she adorable! We're friends now " Orihime giggled when the cat meowed, agreeing at her statement. " yeah it is but that's not the problem here! do you know what time it is! its 4 am in the morning. why are you outside?! " Orihime bit her lips, knowing that Ichigo is angry at her. "I'm sorry.. but it feels great! its so nice to walk outside and look, I found her too!" she smiled widely at Ichigo, who sighed in defeat. "Inoue, its dangerous to walk outside alone" Kurosaki said to Orihime who smiled at him in return. "Kurosaku-kun look, I'm fine. don't worry to-" Orihime's words were interrupted when a joyous boy called her. "Inoue-san! are you alright?!" 

"Abarai-kun!!" Abarain Renji leaped down to where Ichigo and Orihime stands. "oh hey, your fine." Renji uttered and smiled at the girl. "No shit Pineapple head" Kurosaki said mockingly. "what did you said you strawberry" Renji said in defense. "You heard me, Pine apple head" Kurosaki smirked at Renji who were irked at him " You basta-" "KNOCK IT OFF, both of you" the young short haired girl interrupted the two's bickering. "Kuchiki-san!! you're here!"  Orihime hugged the girl and smiled widely. "When did you came back.. oh yeah.. When did you GUYS came back!? " Orihime asked excitedly but pouted when she realized that she wasn't aware of them comming back.  "I'm sorry we didn't told you" The girl looked at Orihime apologetically but smiled when Orihime smiled at her, reassuring its fine. " No problem! Its my fault anyway for not asking"  the two boys looked at the two girls who were giggling for no reason. "what's gotten to them?"  Renji asked Ichigo "I don't know, ask them." The two boys looked at each other and  smiled at the girls who were now talking about other things.
