[Haikyuu] Tendo Satori x reader: just one of those days..

(Ok I'll try keep this gender neutral. And try and not be ooc with Tendo.)

[Warning: Angst, self doubt and we'll sad stuff cause I'm just gonna be just writing about my emotions..]

[Plot:
You're having a very sad day that consists of lot's of Bad and negative thoughts that makes you skip school and litteraly sleep all day or stare at the ceiling trying not to cry too much,because of that Tendo get's worried and go checks on you. Let's just say you only live with your mother and she at work.]

You kept Staring at the ceiling.. trying to figure out why people don't like you. You always had that one friend you though you could trust but turns out they just used you. It happens all the time, they come, they use you for their selfish needs then just leave you without saying anything, straight out ignore you and pretend like they've never met you...

You wonder.. if Tendo was the same. Not going to lie, you developed a little crush on him after a few months of being friends with him, but you were scared of rejection. You somehow learned quite a lot about him, what he liked and how he was bullied for being a 'monster' or how wierd he looked. But whenever he asked about you, you would dodge the question by saying you need to go to the bathroom or you need to finish some unfinished homework.

You always liked making new friends.. but it all leads to everyone to bullying you and using you until you eventually find out what they are actually trying to do. It hurts cause it made you lose all your trust in people, even your family. You started shutting yourself away not speaking until you're spoken to.

You sat there still staring at the ceiling, feeling tears about to spill at the corners of your eyes. So many things can easily make you cry. No matter how though you act or how intimidating you looked, at the end of the day it's too much to handle.

You got interrupted by the message you got on your phone. You pick it up and see about 20 messages from Tendo. Guess you were so lost in thought you didn't hear the previous notification sounds.

You picked it up and started reading the first 2 messages.

<Tendo😸:Good morning (y/n)! How you doing 0w0?> 06:30Am

<Tendo😸:(y/n)! Why aren't you at school? Are you coming late again?! I was waiting for you like a lost puppy! Pls come it lonely TwT! And the teach a pain in the ass😛😣!> 12:30PM

You giggled at that one. Oh how dramatic he can be.

You skipped through the messages most of them being what you missed at school and of how boring it was without you and stuff. Until you came to the last message that made your blood run cold.

<Tendo😸:(y/n) this isn't funny! Don't ignore me!! I'm coming to your place after practice! And you better tell me what's wrong cause I have a feeling that something is bothering you! And I have to bring the work you missed!>3:30pm

You looked at the time and it was 4:55pm
His practice ends around 5! You mentally screamed as you were still in your cat onesie. And your eyes still swollen from crying and and the lack of sleep you had. You quickly put on some normal everyday clothing (anything you like to wear) and try to tidy up your room a little. All you couldn't hide was the bags under your eyes. Since you couldn't find your glasses anywhere.

You hear the doorbell ring, you feel like dying there and then since your hair isn't even properly brushed. You hear the doorbell ring again along with a yell of "whoo hoo?!? (Y/nnnn)!! You here!?! It's cold!! And I forgot my Jacket!"

You quickly went to unlock the door preventing Tendo from seeing you by hiding behind it.
You see Tendo stepping inside with his jacket on all along 'jackass' you mentally thought as he just said that so you could let him in. Not like you were gonna pretend like you weren't home.

He looks inside and instantly finds you hiding behind the door. And instantly engulfing you into a hug. He does this quite a lot even though at the beginning it kinda creeped you out since you weren't really much of someone who likes physical contact. But you made an acceptance for him. His hugs are quite comfortable though him only being a few inches taller than you.

You awkwarly Pat his back, though Tendou takes your arms and put them around him by his back putting your head against his chest Making you turn a deep red.
"T-Tendo.." you stuttered.

"This is how you hug back silly!" He says hugging you tighter.

"Now.. tell me~ whot whoss on yer mind~!" He said in a silly kind of voice.
"And why you weren't at school" he said all seriously the sudden, breaking the hug putting his hands on your shoulders. Staring at your (e/c) eyes. And it feels like he was staring deep into your soul.

"I-I.." you try talking before Tendo interrupted

"C'mon we're taking this to your room!"

He takes your hand and heads to your room dragging you along. Once settled in your semi messy room with the door closed Tendo went and sit on you working chair spinning around in it.

"Now tell me! What's up." He stopped spinning, looking you dead in the eyes waiting for your response.

You sat there staring back at him. Thinking.. whether you should tell him or not.. yet he's one of the 1st friends who actually cared about your well being.. yet you were scared he might hate you. Or use all of your secrets and insecurities against you.

Tendo stood up and sat next to you.

"Please tell me. I promise I Won't judge or anything."

You look him straight in the eyes. Trying to see if he's lying. You took a deep breath in and out trying to compose yourself from crying or having a breakdown infront of him.
You started at how people betrayed you. How they hurt you, not physically but emotionally to the point where it gave you trust problems. And never wanted to ever have friends again or even decided to commit you know what. But anxiety stopped you from atleast doing that. You rambled on and on and somewhere inbetween you started crying.

Tendo hugged you rubbing your back letting you cry it all out. For the first time in a very long time you actually have a shoulder to cry on. Someone you can trust.

"Listen (y/n), forget about those who hurt you. They're in the past! Worry about those who actually care about you. Like your mother, siblings heck even some of my teammates seem to enjoy your company. But most of all I care about you.. a lot..."

You stare at him wide eyed.. did he just confess? You feel your heart skip a beat and butterflies in your stomach, but you don't get your hopes up too high.

"W-what I'm trying to say is I really L-like you, more than a friend!."

This is the first time you saw him this flustered. And honestly it was kinda adorable.

"I love you too! You dork"

You say poking him. It's a way of showing your love and affection. Tendo looked at you wide eyed. A huge grin plastered on his face. He tackle hugs you onto your bed sitting on your legs.

"Does that mean you're my gf/bf??"

You Blush turning your head the other way embarrassed replying with "s-sure".

Tendo continues to hug you and offered you to go to the beach to eat icecream and play volleyball together.

"Didn't you say it was cold outside??" You say recalling what he said before you let him in.

"Nah it's actually supper hot outside! I just said that so you'll let me in!"

You hit him on the head.
"Idiot!"

"Your fault for not watching the weather forecast"
He responded with a cocky grin on his face rubbing the place you hit him.

"Fine, fine let's go, before it gets dark"
You replied seeing it being 5:30pm.

You and Tendo became a cute couple and he helped you to get out of your Shell and became friends with some of his teammates. And let you get use to some of his affection towards you.
