I wait outside the bathroom for Ryujin to finish whatever she's doing in there for so long. Nako runs up to me and tries to wipe something on me. I panic and sink deeper into the corner to get farther away from her. Yuna quickly takes the child away from me and places her on the couch. "What was that?"
"Chocolate." I bite my bottom lip getting more anxious by the second Why would Ryujin think it's a good idea to wear white around a child?

I hear the door open to the bathroom and I don't even turn to look at her I just head straight to the car. "We'll be back soon."
"I know." Yuna smiles at Ryu's annoyed expression before waving with Nako's messy hand.

We make it to the house and wait for Ryujin to park her car far away from the house since it would be safer. She makes it back to me and leads me inside I automatically look for Hayoung while Ryujin just goes to sit on a staircase and looks through her phone. "What are you doing? Hayoung is not just going to come to you."
"I know and I can't just go straight to her or she'll completely ignore me."
I sigh and lightly stomp my foot. "Fine but at least spot her or find someone to talk to who knows her and I'll do the exact same." I say as walking away for the older.

I make it to one of the food tables and look around for a talkie person since social butterflies connect with other social butterflies. Somi. "Hi, I'm Chaery."
"Hey." She grabs my hand and shakes it before standing up and hugging me. I hug back and look around at the group she's talking to. They're all nice from what heard about them. "Usually Hayoung comes alone doesn't she." I nod quickly "Yeah just she's babysitting me and our little sister and I made her bring me here." Somi laughs and leans against the table.

"Why is there someone you'd like to see." I shake my head "Oh come on not even a little crush or something."
"No." I whine and she giggles "I'm kidding but serious from what I heard about you your not type to party."
"I'm not but what is the description I was given." I'm worried about an image but who am I trying to impress. "The complete opposite of Hayoung calm,smart,.cute."
"Hayoung can be cute sometimes." Somi shrugs and tries to get closer to me but steps back for some reason.

"Umm Chae." I turn around and see Ryu. "Nae!"
She smiles shyly at me. "Can't do it I'm sorry." I run up to her and hug her.
"Why are you sorry it's okay you can try again can't you?" She nods and sighs before heading towards the door. I turn back and wave goodbye to Somi she smiles and waves back.

We make it back home and greeted with two annoying little sisters one screaming and one smiling slyly. Why do I prefer the screaming one? I ignore them and walk back into the main house I heard Yuna following me. "What?" I turn to face her already annoyed with myself. "What do you want to nag about not, Yuna I'm tired I just want to go to bed okay."
"What happened, Ryu?" She leads to the bench next to the small hand-made river in the middle of our backyard. "I couldn't lie to her and pretend that I was hurt I can't live with that guilt that the only way I ended up with her is because I lied."

"So you didn't even talk to Hayoung."
"No I did I just made sure she heard my apology this time." She nods
"So let get everything straight. You were trying to get back together Hayoung knowing she'll say?"
"No." "Correct."
"Is this a quiz on my OWN plan."
"No it's just you know." I roll my eyes and shake my head I thought she was the smart one

"Then you'll act heartbroken and Chaery being Chaery would comfort you and then fall in love with AGAIN." I nod and start to rethink everything.
"Maybe if you just hang out with her and maybe if she sees how hard you're trying then boom she loves you again."

"Maybe."

Maybe I should shot for her just liking me instead of going for love straight on
