New years party

"NO!"
"Come on Bailey you didn't even think about it you just said no." Callie said begging  Miranda to come with her and Arizona to a New Years Eve party.
"Oh I have thought about it plenty and I'm not going to watch you suck face with Arizona and be harassed by men who wouldn't know the first thing about handling a women like me. Plus this is the first New Years Eve by myself  me and Tucker are divorced and Tucks spending New Years Eve with him this year, so I plan to do it with a suspenseful movie, a glass of wine Callie raised a eyebrow and looked at Miranda giving her a face, alright fine the bottle with a bowl of buttery popcorn." Miranda said picking up her files nodding her head toward Callie setting her ground as she began to walk away.
"Exactly your first New Years Eve post marriage so why not get out and kiss some handsome stranger for one night that you will never see again I mean unless you want to, but get those juices of yours up and running again. Callie Said chasing after Miranda and bumping into her nodding her head in excitement.
"Torres" Miranda said stoping and looking at her rolling her eyes in annoyance.
"Okay fine I will buy your lunch for 2 weeks if you come please Bailey"
"Make it 3weeks and I will come but I'm not kissing anyone Callie so don't even try to set me up or anything I mean it Callie." Miranda said making her self clear.
"Deal!!!" Callie said squealing, but are you sure there probably will be so many sexy men there Miranda gave Callie a look "okay okay okay no sexy strangers lips got it geesh you don't have to give me the Bailey eyes." Callie said throwing her hands up and backing away.
Miranda shook her head in disbelief why did she just agree to go to an New Year's Eve party she is gonna be surrounded by people sucking faces and it is just gonna remind her that she divorced and a single mother "Damnit Callie!!!" It was gonna be a long night Miranda thought walking into her office.
Hours have passed and it was now 7:00 and she was finally off her feet were killing her and all she wanted to do was jump into the bed with her bottle of wine and bowl of buttery popcorn with a suspenseful movie playing.
Miranda phone went off, and she looked down at it, it was a message from Callie "Bailey the party starts at 9:30 so I be at your house to pick you up at 9:00 wear something sexy!!! Love ya see you then" Miranda scuffed at the word sexy.
Miranda changed out of her scrubs and left the hospital and stopped to get her something to eat because party food was not gonna fill her up she ordered her food before she left she checked it and noticed it wasn't what she ordered she parked her car and walked in.
"Hi excuse me yeah this isn't what I ordered I ordered strawberry milkshake extra thick and a chicken Cae...." chicken Caesar salad" deep voice said cutting her off Miranda yanked her head to the voice  Yeah a Caesar salad do I know you or something. Miranda said with a feisty tone making the gentleman chuckle "um no I believe you and I were given each other's orders." He said walking closer to her Oh okay." Miranda said turning to face him he was beautiful he was tall, had beautiful dark skin and his smile bout caused her to forget how to breathe.
"I do have one question though the man said stopping in front of her." "Do you now" Miranda questioned turning to face him fully. "Yup what's your name beautiful and a Milkshake with salad what's that about." The Man said giving her a side grin as he asked her.
"Well Mr? "Benjamin Warren but you can call me Ben." Ben said extending his arm for Miranda to shake his hand. Miranda looked down At this hand and ignored it and continued to speak. Well Mr. Benjamin Warren I thought you had one question but it seems to me you may have miss counted and if you must know chicken Caesar salad can be salty at times and I do like to mix salty things with sweet things and it's not just any ole plain Milkshake it's a strawberry Milkshake extra thick!" Miranda said moving her head back in forth popping that k at the end to give it an extra bit of sass to it. Before Ben could respond to what she just said her food came and she was off, but before she was all the way out the door. Ben said "Heyy I never did get your name Beautiful" making Miranda blush she turned around and said "that's because I didn't give it." Turning back around and walked out the door adding a extra hint of sway to her hips knowing he was gawking.
Ben chuckled and bit his lips while he groan to him self at the beauty that was in front of him she was a feisty little women who had a shape of a goddess she was absolutely stunning the most gorgeous women he had ever seen and he was determined to see her again even if that meant coming here every night to get some food.
Miranda drove home quickly as she only had an hour left to get ready for this party that she didn't even want to go to in the first place. As Miranda got ready she would occasionally think about the handsome stranger she met while picking up her food.
He wasn't shy of his attraction of her he had called her beautiful multiple times Miranda blush at the thought of it.
Miranda showered and lotion up before putting on her red panties and lace bra she walked in her closet and looked through her clothes. Locking her eyes with a dress she had forgot she bought last year she was gonna wear it to her and Tucker's 13th anniversary date, but that's was before his ultimatum and her decision to choose her and Tuck.
It was a Gold and Black Sequined Back Slit Cloak Bodycon Dress and it was perfect for tonight Miranda slipped into the dress and it clung to all the right places on her body. After looking at her self in the mirror in her closet she went into her bathroom she brushed her teeth did her hair straightened and curled the ends Miranda ended the style parting it down the middle pining it back to a curly ponytail leavening to curly strands of hairs in the front.
Once done with her hair she started on her makeup she decided to go light little powder and sparkly gold eye shadow finishing it off with dark plum colored lips.
Miranda left her bathroom and walked to the edge of her bed and sat on the bench in front of it so she could put on her shoes they were a pair of black and gold Glitter Bow Crisscross Thin Heeled Sandals.
They did wonders for her legs the only down fall they killed her feet. Miranda looked at the clock on her nightstand and saw that it was 8:58 pm and she knew that Callie would be there in any minute, so she got up to take her appearance in once more after her approval she sprayed her self with some perfume and made her way downstairs to the front of the house to wait for Callie as soon as she took her last step off the stairs her doorbell rang letting her know that Callie was here.
Once at the party Miranda made a beeline for the bartender knowing she was gonna need liquid strength for tonight she order herself a glass of bourbon.
Hour in to the party it was 10:00pm and Miranda was generally having a good time socializing with her coworkers and other doctors from other hospitals part from the pitiful men who would constantly shoot their shot at her.
Ben was talking to his best friend Austin Knox who had dragged him to this New Years party he was actually enjoying himself but he couldn't help think about his feisty little goddess he met earlier this evening he was dying to see her again praying he will run into her one more time so he could at least learn her name.
45 minutes passed Ben heard a loud burst of laughter and looked up too see it coming from a small crowd of people he starred a little bit his eyes became wide as he couldn't believe his eyes "that's her isn't it" Ben thought as a smile ran across his face big enough to fill a baseball stadium. He excused himself from his friends as he made his way to his feisty little goddess he had to be 100% certain that it was her he needed to talk to her.
Miranda excused herself from her friends and walk towards the party snacks to see if anything looked good too her. Her back to the crowd she didn't see Ben walk up to her.
"Heyy Strawberry Milkshake extra thick" Ben said coming up behind her.
"Excuse me who do you think you are" Miranda said turning her body quickly to face Ben not knowing it was him she was extremely irritated.
"Oh" Miranda froze realizing it was her handsome stranger from earlier.
"Ahh it is you my feisty little goddess Ben said chuckling a little how is your night going gorgeous" Ben said bitting his lip looking her up and down meeting at her eyes with a slight grin.
Miranda gasped at his reaction "Mr. or shall I say Dr. since this is clearly a doctors only party Dr. Benjamin Warren what did you just call me" Miranda said placing her hands on her hips and raising her eyebrow in his direction.
"Gorgeous"?
"No before that"
"Umm strawberry milkshake extra thick" Ben said in a low deep voice licking his lips and looking her up and down.
Miranda breath hitched as she watched him check her out licking his lips "GOD! This man is fine" Miranda thought. "Nope after that"
Ben smirked "Oh you mean when I called you "My Feisty Little Goddess!" Ben said leaning down to her ear placing a kiss on her cheek before backing up away some.
Causing her to blush uncontrollably and for her body to trembling at the sound of his deep sexy voice in her ear.
"Yeah that's it"Miranda said with her voice hitched from him being so close to her she could hardly think but she had to get herself together.
Miranda looked at him with a raised eyebrow asking about his choice of a nick name.
Ben licked his lips as he got her expression that she wanted him to explain his nick name.
"Well for My feisty little goddess I'm going to have break each word down."
"Feisty! I gave because of your sassy attitude and quick remarks." Ben said stepping forward a little.
"Little!! well that's easy your not the tallest person I've seen" Ben said laughing as Miranda rolled her eyes "your not a funny man" Miranda said with a smirk.
"Goddess! Well that's pretty damn explanatory because look at you. You are purely an goddess you are absolutely gorgeous and don't get me started on your body you have curves for days and this dress is absolutely stunning on you it clings to all the right places truth be told I envy the damn thing. "Is that so and why is that." Miranda said biting her bottom lip already knowing but wanting to hear it come out of his mouth." Hmmmm Ben said licking and bitting his lips as he takes few more steps closer to her closing in the gap completely he slowly began to run his hand over her arm and then up the side of her body causing Miranda's body to shutter and him to groan a little as he felt her curves from the side before leaning down to whisper in her ear because I would love to nothing more than to be wrapped up and all around you."Ben said moving to look into her eyes.
Miranda began to turn red and her breathing to get a little  heavy starring in to his eyes she had so much things running through her mind. One of them being that she wanted this man that stood in front of her piercing into her eyes it's like she craved him. It's completely insane knowing that I just met the guy earlier tonight and every since then I can't seem to get him out my head and here he stood whispering things to me that awoke every inch of my body. In Callie words(he's getting my juices up and running) he definitely did that and he hasn't even kissed me yet. 
"What about My you left out My." Miranda said eagerly and nervously wanting to know what he was gonna say that she seem to tune out all  the shouting and counting around them because she was so focused on his answer.
"Oh I didn't forget about My it is the most important out of them all. When I say my it's me speaking it to existence that one of these days you will be mine to hold, to cherish, to protect even though from the looks of it you can protect yourself just fine. Ben said winking at her to marry you when ever the time comes and we make it there because you are unforgettable and I have yet know anything about you. To make love to you and to kiss you anytime anywhere because I can, but for now I will just settle for  your name beautiful". Ben said caressing Miranda cheek as he continued to stare into her eyes.
Miranda inhaled and exhaled as she looked into Ben's eyes. "It's Miranda Miranda Bailey."
Miranda said swallowing looking into Ben's eyes. "Miranda Bailey mmmm Miranda I like it, it's a beautiful name for a "321 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Everyone shouted around them, but Miranda and Ben were so consumed in each other's presence that they were totally unaware of their surroundings. Gorgeous women" Ben said leaning down and connecting his lips with hers into the most sensational kiss that they both have ever experienced!
