The Box

"MUUUUUUUMMMMMMM!!!! what happened to my toy box after we moved?!" Jessie shouted out whilst trashing his room in search for his beloved toys. Jessie being 11 wasn't neccesarly to old to play with toys but he still preferred to keep it his dirty little secret. He blew his long brown fringe out of his face with frustration. "no success here then" he mumbled to himself then started to make his way down the stairs to the kitchen, he knew mum would be there, shes always baking fun new creations to put in her cook book. That and that he could hear her music booming for the kitchen along with the faint, beautiful sound of her voice.

Jessie turned down the volume enough for her to hear him over it. She turned around, wondering what had happened to her Fall Out Boy. "huh? whats wrong?" she said, looking down at her flustered son. They've shared the same facial features since he was 5, so she always made sure to have longer hair than him, but it was difficult when he wanted to have long enough hair to cosplay Sora from Kingdom Hearts, the game he plays nearly every minute he doesn't spend playing with his monster maze.

"have you seen my toy box?"

"ermmmmmm" She tapped her chin, thinking of  a place that he might not have seen it without using the gift of mummy eyes "your room?"

"nope."

"the lounge room?"

"nowhere"

"......" she sat down on a bench stool closest to her, continuing to tap her chin. " the attic?"

"oh!" Jessie turned and started to make his way to the staircase leading to the attic but continues to talk to himself "why didn't i check there earlier? its where everything ends up when it missing" His mum laughed to herself at her childs ways. not soon after she blasted up her music again and played "sugar, we're going down" from the beginning.

Jessie ran up the stairs till he found the door to his attic. It took him a while to find the switch, trying to avoid all the cob webs that had been made around it. He walked through the attic, reading all the box labels till he found one in the corner with no name. Curious, he opened it to see what it contained.

All of a sudden, he couldn't see or hear anything, but only felt the sensation of falling. He landed with a loud thud, on his back.
