It is now the morning of the day Sunset Curve is suppose to play the Orpheum. Ever since yesterday, no one has heard from Luke. After he stormed out of Reggie and Skylar's, he's been MIA.

The biggest question that was up in the air was if he even going to show up. He's disappeared before, but never when something this important was going on.

Whenever something affected Luke's life in a major way, he would always leave. When he ran away from his parents, he first came to the garage, then left for about a week. Another time when he froze up on stage, he was missing for 2 weeks. It's not uncommon for him to disappear into himself when everything seemed to be going wrong but now isn't really a convenient time for that.

It's now 2 hours till their sound check and everyone agreed to meet at the studio.

"Hey Skylar, I'm heading out," Reggie yelled to Skylar who was somewhere else in their otherwise empty house. "Okay," she said flatly. She hated that he was acting so normal about this whole thing.

Once he left, he made his way to the studio to only find Alex and Bobby. "Still no Luke?" Reggie asked as he scanned the room, seeing no sign of his presence. He felt so bad about the situation he had put the band in, especially now, but he couldn't show it.

"No, and it just sucks he doesn't know you were actually the one who kicked her out of the band," Alex said as Bobby who nodded his head in agreement. "Could you imagine if he knew it was my idea? I think he would kill me."

"He would definitely kill you," Bobby let out with a laugh causing the guys to laugh with him a little before snapping back into reality.

"But seriously, are you ever going to tell him?" Alex became serious because he knew Reggie should have told him but Luke would have put an end to it before it was ever more than a thought.

Reggie didn't like Alex's serious tone. He should have told Luke but ultimately didn't want to. "I don't know, I guess it all depends on if I ever see him again." Alex was not impressed by how light hearted Reggie was speaking.

"Are you forgetting we can't do this without him, he's our lead guitarist and singer," Alex raised his voice louder and louder throughout his sentence.

"And without him, we aren't a band," Reggie was now coming to the realization of how bad this could be.

"This is his dream, and he's the reason we're here today. Without him, I would have never met you guys, let alone join a band together." Alex sighed, "We can't just give up on him. Reggie, when we met you, you couldn't even play bass and look at you now. That's because of Luke. We all became something because of Luke, he gave as a purpose."

"He gave us a family," Reggie interrupted.

"If it wasn't for Luke, I probably would have been expelled," Bobby added. "Exactly, so why are we giving up on him when we clearly owe this to him. We literally owe everything to him." None of the guys had ever heard Alex like this.

Ever since Alex came out to Luke and he treated him with just as much respect, he felt more comfortable finding his voice and fighting for what he believed in. If anything, Luke helped Alex the most out of everyone. He gave his unwavering support to him when he was at his most vulnerable and that had stuck with him.

The band now had just over an hour until sound check to find Luke. They started to search his favorite places. First the beach and no Luke, then the pier and still nothing, causing the guys to get more and more nervous.

There was one place left. The guys didn't think Luke was going to be there but it was worth a shot, the only one they had.

When Reggie, Alex and Bobby showed up to the brick house, they couldn't remember the last time they were there. It was Luke's parents house and he had run away almost 7 months ago at this point. All the boys missed that house. It's safe to say it was the best and most peaceful between all of theirs. His parents were always so kind and generous to each of them, always caring for them when their home life wasn't ideal.
