Three weeks passed by and Draco's fun little experiment to screw with Greengrass didn't provide him with half as much satisfaction as he had hoped it would. She ended up sharing books with prissy little Granger and Theo, the latter annoying him the most seeing as it meant she would join their study group during free period. His only consolation was knowing that at least Pansy had a strong dislike for her as well. After about two weeks of watching Theo piss himself over offering for her to study with him ,she replaced her textbook, putting a halt on her unwanted presence. Now the intrusions were limited to meal times when of course she would sit with their group, probably due to a lack of friends since she's an intolerable little bitch. This evening's dinner meal for example, was no exception. It was a nice October evening, lanterns lighting up the Great Hall, light music filling their ears. They sat at the very end of the long oak table directly under a giant Slytherin banner, the rest of their house shuffled farther down.
It's become a bit of a habit these days for the rest of their house to sit as far away from Draco as they can. Their side of the table usually only consisted of his social circle: Theo, Blaise, Pansy, and unfortunately now Greengrass.
Only now the only ones seated with him were Theo and Greengrass. Blaise was no where to be found and Pansy got detention because of an incident in her Muggles Studies class.
"Malfoy," Greengrass calls to him from across the table. "Malfoy?"
He ignores her, as he tends to do whenever she speaks.
"MALFOY. Could you acknowledge when someone is speaking to you?" she says.
"Mate." Theo chimes in.
"What do you want?"
"Room checks start this week. I'll be checking your dorm early tomorrow morning so be dressed by 7:00 a.m."
"Are you bloody joking? Tomorrow's Saturday, I'm sleeping in."
"McGonagall likes to have her reports on her desk by 9:00 a.m. sharp."
"That sounds like a you problem. Besides, I highly doubt it's going to take two hours to check a few boxes off saying my clothing isn't scattered about the floor."
"You're right. But then again what are the perks of being your babysitter if not to annoy you at every opportunity?" she smirks as Theo tries to hide his laugh with a cough and throws his arm around her shoulder.
"Show up at my door as early as you want, I'm not waking up until I please." he scowls at them.
"Suit yourself, but I don't want to hear any complaints because you've been warned."
Draco dismisses himself from the table and retires to his dorm, laying across his bed in black and green plaid pajama pants and no shirt.
The audacity of this girl, acting like she owns him, latching on to his friends. He cannot stand her and her stupid little smile of triumph every time she gets under his skin. He despises her entire being, from her long shiny locks of hair and seductive hooded eyes, down past the curve of her waist against her school skirt...
Woah.
What the fuck is wrong with him?
Get your shit together Draco.
Right... deep into her entitled little attitude, always talking back to him, saying things most people would never dare utter to his face. She disgusted him, a stain on his consciousness and a waste of fucking space.
He sits up as he hears a quick rap on his door.
"Enter," he said as a brunette head pops into the room, closing the door behind her. "What do you want?"
