chapter 13: The first family meeting

Min Ah POV :

" Good morning! " ji hye said she's sleeping on my bed and I'm sleeping on the ground (Not really on the ground it's mulched) .

"Morning! " I said still won't more sleep we didn't sleep early at all last night you know we stayed chatting and.....

"Hey wake up it's 10 am !" Ji hye said and stood up from the bed heading to the bathroom .

"Really! "

I stood up too and started to tidy up...

"Morning mom! Morning dad!" I said mom and dad were already eating breakfast .

"Good morning! " ji hye said and bowed .

"Oh ji hye honey you don't have to bow whenever you see us right? You're Min Ah ' s freind you're one of the family !" Dad said .

"Thank you! " ji hye said and we two sat down to eat breakfast .

Ji hye went back to her house and I stayed at home doing nothing when suddenly my mom appeared in front of me .

"Dear , go and prepare yourself we have to meet your dad's freind family today at lunch !" Mom said softly .

"Oh !but why ?" I said .

"Why are you asking we're just meeting them ?" Mom said , I nodded and went upstairs to get ready .

I don't know what I should wear for this 'meeting' should it be something formal , casual or normal I don't know?...

what about a dress ! I think it's good idea , ok I'll go with it ! Pinkish dress ! Above the knees with a light pink ribbon on the waist !

"Mom I'm ready !" I said smiling .

"You look beautiful I was afraid you're going to wear something else then a dress !" Mom said in relieve , I didn't put any make up actually I think I look better without it , and about my hair I let it flow all over my shoulders and back as always ^^.

"Thanks mom !" I said smiling but inside I'm wondering why would this meeting be so important for Mom and dad and ME ! Why is she so exited about It i should ask my dad for an answer .

I went to his room to find him getting ready .

"Dad!" I said

"Yes , dear! "

"Can I ask you for something ?" I said

"Go ahead! "

"Why are we meeting them today? "

Dad facial expressions turned to a serious yet sad and he said gently said "you don't wanna meet your dady's best freind !"

"Oh no not at all but I was just wondering cause it seems to be so important !" I said .

"EHmm....I think we'll be late let's go !" Dad said .

"Ok !" I said and we all went out we will be meeting them I think in a restaurant .

We arrived at the place , I stepped out of the car to see a really chic restaurant wow !

"Min Ah! " Mom nudged me .

"What? " I said I'm still surprise by the elegancy of the restaurant as we went inside .

"Stop being like that , it's just a restaurant !" Mom said .
