Three sides of a heart

Chapter 5

I walk back into the kitchen and grab a drink as I sit down at the counter.

"Hey gorgeous." Aiden says smiling at me as he stands in between my legs

"Hey." I say smiling

"How you feeling." He asks

"I'm okay." I sigh

He kisses my forehead as James walks into the kitchen sighing and puts his head down.

"James ." I call out

I push aiden away and run outside after him.

"James wait." I call out after him

"What." He asks angrily

"Why are you angry you told me we're just friends." I say angrily

"I know." He says angrily

"Then why are you mad." I ask confused

"Because." He says

"It's hard to see both of you that way." He says sadly looking down at me

I sigh and pull him into a hug which makes him soften and he wraps his arms around my waist.

I kiss his cheek to make him feel better and he smiles

"Thank you Aubrey ." He smiles

He walks towards me and kisses me passionately as I stand there shocked and I eventually kiss him back.

"What the fuck." I hear someone call

I pull away from James and turn around to see aiden sadly looking at me.

I sigh and go to walk over to him but he gets into his car and speeds away.

"Aiden." I ran after his car but he's too fast and I begin sobbing.

I turn back around to James and look at him angrily

"You just ruined any chance of a relationship I had with him he probably hates me now." I say angrily

"I'm sorry." He says

"I gotta go please leave me alone from now on I need space." I say sadly

"What no please." He says sadly

"I can't do this." I say sobbing

He caresses my cheek and smiles sadly at me and I feel a tear fall as he wipes it

"I'm sorry." He says

"It's not okay james give me space." I say sadly

"Okay." He says

"Goodbye." I say walking away

I walk back inside and grab my things before heading back out the door and walking back home.

I arrive 10 minutes later and walk Upto the front door unlocking it and walking inside.

"Your late." Nate says crossing his arms angrily
