The New Girl

I was new to this school. I didnt know much about it. Just that there was a scary doctor and a sleepy teacher.

It was the end of third period. I decided to go to the library. I walked down the hall and pasted a few doors. I glanced in and saw teachers and student in every room.. I finally reached the library. I walked in and it was empty. I didnt even see a librarian. I was walking around around and I saw a student sitting in a corner reading a book. I thought I should be nice and go up to him. I also have no friends. Time to make one! I walked up to him. He didnt seem to notice me yet. I was a bit nervous. "Hello" I finally said. He didnt really say anything. He just sort of... Glanced. "Um hel-" "I heard you" he finally said something. "Why is there no one else here?" I asked confused. "No one ever comes here. Its kind of abandoned." He said emotionless. "Then why are you here?" I was looking around to see if anyone was around. "I never leave" he said. I'm pretty sure he goes home though, right? He can't stay here 24/7. "4th period is almost over. Do you want to walk to lunch with me?" "No. I can't" he looked back down at his book. "Oh.. Then can I stay here?" I asked a bit scared. "I dont care." He didnt even take his eyes off the book. I sat down next to him and started to read the page he was on. He turned the page before I could finish it.

We were sitting there for the whole 5th period. We didnt even really speak to each other. I eventually layed my head on his shoulder because I was tired. A teacher walked in and came up to me. "Get to class! Why are you just sitting there alone!" He yelled. "Um, what do you mean there is-" hes gone, where did that kid go. He must have ran when he saw the teacher. I didnt feel or see him move though. Hmm- odd.

I got up and went to class. I came back after school was over. I saw him in his usual corner. Still here? Why not home? "Hey uh.. Oh yeah I never got your name." I said. "Nageki. Fujishiro Nageki." He said quietly. "Nice to meet you Nageki, I'm --------." I said while sitting next to him.

He gave me a glance. I dont know why, but I think I started blushing. Do I have... Feelings for Nageki? No. I couldn't. Could I? "Can I walk home with you?" I asked. "Umm- I guess." He got up and closed his book. He neatfully put it back on the shelf. I walked over to the door and opened it and held it open, waiting for him. He was pushing on the air like it was a barrier. He walked backwards, and ran into nothing. Its like hes trapped. "Uh.. Want the-" I was so confused. "See. I can't leave." He said not even looking surprised. I walked in and hugged him, not saying a word. Just.. Crying.. He pulled me out of the hug slightly and stared into my eyes. He leaned in and kissed me. I was so surprised. My eyes we wide in surprised. They slowly drifted shut. We kissed for what felt like hours. We finally pulled apart after some time. Wait. Nageki was... Smiling!? "Thank you. I'm happy now. I think its time I tell you. This whole time. I dont know how you were able to touch me and lay on me. Let alone see me. Ghosts aren't usually able to be seen or touched. You must be special. I... Committed suicide in this library and I never found peace. Until now. Thank you -----. Good bye." Nageki was fading. "No Nageki please! Dont leave me." I had tears streaming down my face, trying not to sob. "I'm sorry." He faded completely away as I fell to my knees crying. I then to on that faithful day. Wanted to be with him forever. So that day. I then to ended my life in the same library.
