Previously,

"Oh. . . err. . . great talk, but I got to go now. I'll err. . . talk to you more after?" Iris says awkwardly, leaving.

Iris walked out of the champion's tent and the crowd is quiet. She looks around and sees the golden egg with other dragon eggs.

'A nesting mother, of bloody course. They really want kill us,' Iris thought to herself, sighing.

Iris scans the area and sees the Hungarian Horntail. She walks out a bit and the crowd starts cheering. But they quickly quiet down when the dragon shoots fire. Iris rolls on the ground and hid behind a rock.

'You can do this,' she encourages herself. 'Just start speaking Parseltongue to it. Hopefully it'll understand. . . right?'

"~STOP!~" Iris command but it doesn't sound like a snake hiss.

"What the bloody hell! What language was I just speaking?!" Iris asks Mors through the mind link.

"Seems like Merlin decided to help you. He's right behind you," he responds.

She whips her head around and sees spirit Merlin.

"As you know, you're a descent of him and I think Fate and Life sent him here to help you with Dragon Tongue. I do not know how he got you to do it but I have a feeling meeting your godfathers did something," Mors explained.

"Hello my dear descent. I've come to aid you in this task," Merlin announced. (A/N: No one but Iris, Grindelwald and Death can hear or see him. No one can hear her speak to him either.)

"W-wow, it's such an honor to m-meet you. . .," Iris stutters wide eyed. Merlin chuckles.

"Use force and power in your voice and she'll listen," Merlin instructs.

Iris nods and slowly turns her head. She gulps a bit and slowly stands up.

The dragon shoots fire but she quickly puts a shield up. The dragon seizes fire and the crowd gasps at me not burnt, or rather dead.

Iris starts speaking, "~I command you to stop. One of your eggs is an imposter and I want to take it away!~"

"~A speaker?! Why should I listen to you? You just want my eggs don't you? I'll kill you!~" The dragon growls in response.

She was about to shoot fire but Iris spoke first.

"~If you let me get the egg, you'll soon find out its a fake. When it hatches, it will kill all your eggs!~" Iris lies to the dragon.

The Hungarian Horntail stands down and Iris walks over to the egg, gulping.

The crowd gasps. People start muttering. Iris picks up the egg and walks back over to the dragon, holding the golden egg up to her nose.

"~You were right, young speaker. I can't believe these pathetic humans tried to kill my hatchlings with that imposter,~" the dragon hisses.

Merlin chuckles at this. Iris gives a small smile.

"~So, do you have a name?~" Iris asks.

"~Yes, my name is Occidere (A/N: Kill in Latin.) but the humans call me Willow. Such a disgrace of a name,~" the nesting mother answers (A/N: No offense to anyone named Willow.).

Iris nods and leaves the dragon.

"You did great, young one. I must go but I'll meet you another time," Merlin says in a wise tone before fading into thin air.

Iris walks into the champion's tent and was attacked by Viktor and the medi-witch, Poppy Pomfrey.

"What language was that, Ris? It for sure wasn't Pa- uh. . . that language. You know what never mind. You get checked up on and I'll see what your scores are," Viktor rambled before dashing off.

"You're lucky Miss Krum. But I'm afraid that old headmaster will deduct points since it sounded like Parseltongue. He thinks everything that he doesn't like is dark and since he'll deduct points for "practicing a dark language"," Poppy said, sighing.

"Alright, go catch your scores," she says walking off.

Iris gets to the tent flap just in time for the judge's to shoot her scores in the sky.

Madam Maxine, Professor Karkaroff and Ludo Bangman gave her a ten while Bartimues Crouch gave her an eight with Dumbledore giving her 5.5. Which totaled up to 43.5.

Harry had went next and flew a broom around but Iris couldn't help but notice his eyes glow a hint of gold when he came back to swoop the egg.
