This Side Of Paradise (Violentine Fanfic)

Everyone was stuck.

The only exit was now blocked by five walkers and they were slowly making their way towards the group of people inside the store. Louis was the closest to the exit so he brought up his chair's leg and swung it upon one of the walkers' head. Clementine looked back from the walkers to the guy holding the girl hostage in his hands. She was still pointing her gun at him but didn't know whether to go take care of the walkers or shoot the guy. But that decision was made for her.

The guy threw the girl towards Clementine and they both fell on the ground, Clementine's grip on the gun was loosened by the surprising impact and the gun flew away from her as she tried to get over the pain of the impact and from the weight of the girl on top of her. She definitely felt heavier than she looked like.

"You son of a bitch!" Violet yelled at the guy and quickly ran up to him, aiming her weapon towards him and trying to take a hit at him but that failed because he was twice her size, he blocked the incoming attack with his arm and punched Violet in the gut.

"Aaaghhh!" Violet screamed from the blow and fell to her knees. When Clementine saw this she got furious and pushed the girl on top of her far away and stood up, her eyes sparked with rage and she quickly charged at the man, as quick as she can with her limp. She didn't care that she was unarmed, her gun had been lost during the fall and her knife was far away in her bag upstairs. But she always felt this instinctive urge to protect Violet and that guy has made this urge move inside of her.

The guy was facing away from Clementine, his focus was on Violet, he was making his way towards her with anger pooling in his dark predatory eyes.

"Don't you fucking touch her!" She growled at him and jumped on his back and tightly wrapped her arms around his neck. The man was startled and tried to reach to Clementine and get her off of him.

"Get away you little bitch!" He yelled at her trying to reach for her, Clementine knew she couldn't hold on for too long because of his size and strength so when she saw his hands reaching for her she quickly clamped her teeth shut on two fingers of his hand.

The man screamed in pain and jolted from side to side trying to get her off of him and trying to let her open her mouth and free his fingers. But the more he moved, the more Clementine bit his fingers and the more he felt pain, Violet was still on the ground clutching her stomach in pain, when she saw what was happening she stood up and while she was stumbling she held her weapon again and tried to make her way back to them to defend Clementine.

The man saw her coming and he tried to free his hand from Clementine, Violet charged at him but with a lot of force he pulled his hand free, he looked at his hand that was now missing the two fingers Clementine was biting, he heard the sound of spitting and saw his fingers on the ground but he had no time to get shocked over it, and with blood pouring from his hand he smacked Violet across the face, she fell to the ground with a little bit of blood trickling from the corner of her lips.

"Violet!" Clementine screamed but the guy backed up with force into the wall, slamming Clementine hard and she fell and let go of him from the pain and wheezed and coughed on her knees.

He looked at his right hand that was now missing his middle and ring fingers and then back at Clementine with pure anger and disgust, he then looked at the girl and Louis fighting off the walkers. There were more walkers coming from outside, he looked at the girl with worry but then snapped back to his stare of anger and looked at Clementine and said "This isn't over." He then broke the window behind him and leapt out running away and cradling his injured hand.

Clementine looked at Violet who seemed to be unconscious and crawled to her with worry itched in her eyes.

"Vi..." she said with pain and brushed Violet's hair gently away and said "Open your eyes."
