Never Go Part 7 (end)

You felt that something was off. Something had definitely changed. You opened your eyes. You seemed to be in a hospital room. You tried looking around.

"Did someone save me? Damn it I wanted to die..." You thought to yourself. If someone had saved you, it meant you had to be away from everyone you loved. You heard the door open. You looked to your side and saw your IV. If you pulled that...would something happen? You were about to pull it, when you were met by a familiar face.

"Y-Y/n? Y-you're awake?" He said. No way....He died in front of your eyes.

"Seungmin?" You said. He ran to you. The tears streamed down his eyes.

"You're awake! I thought I lost you....I thought....when you didn't wake up I thought you left...." He said while crying.

"What?" You said. You heard the door open again, and you saw the other 7 boys. They looked at you.

"Y/n? You're awake?" Han asked.

"Someone get the doctor! Chan get the doctor!!" Changbin said. You were so confused. You were there. Everyone died in front of you. How were they all alive in front of you right now?

A doctor came in to check on you, and left the 9 of you alone.

"What happened?" You asked.

"You got into an accident 6 months ago, and have been stuck. In a coma since then." Hyunjin said. 6 months ago? Isn't that when the whole incident started?

"I thought....I thought 6 months ago, an apocalypse started?" You said. The boys looked at you with confusion.

"That must've been a dream." Felix said.

"Tell us about it?" Jeongin asked.

"Uhh...you guys....died in front of my eyes a couple hours ago..." You said. You thought back to what you had seen and tears started forming.

"Y/n? Why are you crying?" Minho asked. You broke down.

"I...I thought I lost all of you...You all tried protecting me and lost your lives. I thought...I thought I was alone..." you said. "I lost Eunjung 6 months ago, lost Coco 3 months ago, and I lost the 8 of you today...."

The boys hugged you.

"Y/n....we promise to never leave your side...we promise to always stay with you okay? We'll protect you, and we'll make sure you're okay. We'll never go," Seungmin said while hugging you. You heard the door open one more time and you looked up.

"Sis....." You felt a huge embrace as Eunjung came and hugged onto you. You heard barks and saw Coco.

"You're okay," You both said at the same time. Eunjung laughed at you.

"Don't scare us like that again." She said while rubbing your head. You felt the tears streaming again.

"Silly why are you crying?" She said as she wiped your tears.

"It's a long story," You said. You felt safe here. You had all your loved ones around you, and you were safe here.

"Well Y/n, we have some time right now, so why don't you tell us the story?" Chan asked. They all sat down and you started talking.

"Oh and what year is it?" You asked after you finished saying your story.

"Ummm 2020?" Han said.

"Wait what?" You said. 2020? But....it was 2030 in your "dream."

So what really happened? Was it really just a dream you had during your coma? Or did that all happen and was this the afterlife? Or did your dream just tell the future of what was to happen? I'll let you be the judge.
