Getting rid of unnecessary author's notes
Second try at writing! Any mistakes? point them out!
3rd POV
Midoriya had just woken up. He was still pretty groggy. That was until he looked out his dorm room window. It had snowed over night!
That meant they were most likely going to have a white Christmas! Christmas was in a few days after all.He quickly jumped up and out of bed, hurriedly put on his school uniform, and tried to brush his dark green, nearly black, hair. Key word, tried. No matter how much he brushed and styled, his hair always went back to its naturally fluffy state.
After he had given up on trying to tame his unruly hair, he bolted out of his dorm room. He wanted to see everyone!
He looked from the elevator to the stairs, but decided on taking the stairs. He quickly ran down the stairs, carefully of course. He still managed to almost slip multiple times. At least it was only four times compared to the nine from last time. As he skidded to a halt at the bottom of them, he saw most of his classmates already in the common rooms.
There were some who were eating, a few who were trying to finish up their homework from yesterday, some sitting or standing with idle chatter, while others sat on the couch watching TV. He quickly noted that Todoroki didn't seem to be among the crowd of his classmates yet. He quickly decided to go into the kitchen to grab some much needed breakfast. He wondered whose turn it was to make the meal.
He was met with his childhood friend, Bakugou, or as Midoriya calls him Kacchan, shoving a plate of food into his hands. Question answered.
"I made breakfast today, Deku," he said with a smug smile, knowing everyone loved his cooking.
"Oh thanks, Kacchan," Midoriya said. He was grateful he didn't have to make his own food that morning. Bakugou grunted and continued shoving plates at passing classmates. Midoriya let out a small laugh when Bakugou slapped Mina's hands, for she had already gotten a plate of food earlier.
When Midoriya looked down at his plate, he found it was some waffles drizzled with some sweet maple syrup. He also saw some cut up berries on the side. Yum!
"Deku!," A bubbly voice called, "I think Aizawa Sensei said he was gonna have us train in the snow," his best friend Uraraka said with great enthusiasm.
"Really? When did he say that," I began saying, "Wait, I remember! He said something about it at the beginning of the school year," Midoriya said with just as much, if not more, enthusiasm as his friend has.
After they finished their chat, Midoriya decided to eat his waffles before they got soggy. He never liked when the syrup seeped into his waffles, making them too awfully soggy and sweet. Not a good combo to him. Of course he still would've eaten them, Bakugou made them for him.
Maybe I'm a little biased on maple syrup waffles. I like sweet stuff, but I don't like a lot of it. I also despise soggy waffles and pancakes.
Midoriya's POV
These waffles are delicious! Kacchan must have used his mom's homemade recipe! The berries on the side were also a yummy addition. I'll have to thank Kacchan later!
I scanned the common rooms again, only to find that Todoroki still has yet to show up. Maybe he's not going today? I should go check on him. Make sure he isn't late for school.
I quickly jumped back up the stairs to the floor Todoroki's dorm is on. I walked down his hallway to see if he was coming down yet. I continued walking down the hall until I was outside of his door. I listened closely to see if I could hear any noise from within his dorm room. Once I was sure I heard nothing, I decided to softly knock. If he was sick, I didn't want to give him a headache or worsen one he already had.
