Chapter 1 The New Neighbors

Asher POV
*knock knock*
(I wonder who that could be?) As I open the door

Mom(Imma): "Shanah Tovah(Greetings) Ah-hair(Asher)" *smiles warmly*

Asher(Ah-hair): "Shalom(Piece) Imma(Mom)" *grins softly*

Mom(Imma): "you ready to go?"

Asher(go where?) I thought (what is she talking about?) As I had a curious and questioning expression

Mom(Imma): "you forgot already? we're going to the new neighbors house for dinner, so we can welcome them to the neighborhood!" *smiles*

Asher(Ah-hair): "Neighbors?" (Nobody told me about new neighbors, if they did I would have forgot)

Mom(Imma): "yes, silly" *smiles* "you know, the ones that moved in across the street 1 week ago, I heard that they have a daughter, I think she's around your age"

Asher(Ah-hair): "do we have to go?" I ask.

Mom(Imma): "now, Ah-hair(Asher), we have to be polite" she quickly responds

Asher(Ah-hair): *groans* "fine"

Mom(Imma): "I'll go get your father, then we can go" *smiles*

She says as she's walking out the door

Asher(Ah-hair): "OK" I yell from across the room so she can hear me

[15 minutes later]

Dad(Abba): "you ready to go?" I hear him say as he's walking inside the house.

Asher(Ah-hair): "yeah"

Dad(Abba): "good, come meet me and your mother outside when you're ready to go" he says

Asher(Ah-hair): "ok"

He smiles as he's walking out the door

We were already on our way to their house, as we were walking, I see the sun was setting, a couple of minutes later we arrived at their house, as I see a lady opening the door to greet mom, dad and I

Reagan POV
Me and Mom where up stairs
Mom: "so... honey, our neighbors came to have dinner with us why don't you go downstairs and say hi" *smiles*
Reagan: "mom? Why are you smiling?" I asked

Mom: " oh, no, reason" she responds "well maybe there is a reason, I saw that they have a son, around your age, why don't you go downstairs and say "hi" to him-- well, granted he is Jewish, but I don't really see any problems with it"

Reagan(wait, did she just say that they have a son! there's a boy in my house, I wonder if he's cute)

I walk downstairs to the kitchen, as mom was following after, we went to the dining table and then I see him. wow, he's so cute and those green eyes you could get lost in them.

Mom: "welcome Mr. And Mrs. Angel"

As I heard mom say that, I fell out of my daze, as I found a chair to sit in and it was next to.....
