"I really am sorry," Cara says after the guys leave the room.

I wonder what's going on that neither of them want me to be here.

"It's okay," I tell her. If she's dating Caleb, I can't hold a grudge against her.

While we wait for our guys to return, Cara and I talk about Will and Caleb's initiations. Apparently Cara was his instructor just like Tobias was mine. Interesting that we were both in student teacher relationships. My brother isn't as innocent as he acts.

"You know, your brother is quite the hypocrite," Cara says with laughter in her voice. "Although, he doesn't exactly know by how much yet."

I feel like it takes me far longer to catch what she means than it should.

"Are you...?" I ask while pointing to my own stomach. I can't quite bring myself to actually say the word.

Cara looks down. "I think so. I've been to afraid to take a test to find out for sure, but the symptoms are all pointing that direction."

I completely understand why she would be afraid to take a test. She's the same age as Tobias, and Erudite don't believe in getting married or having children until they're twenty-five.

"The first visiting weekend starts this week," I comment thinking of how the Council had decided that once a month, there will be a visiting weekend for families to visit cross factions. Personally, I hope that we can push for further breakdown of the Faction Before Blood thought process so that people can see their families whenever they want. "Why don't you visit Will, and have the test done at Dauntless. Our infirmary just got some new testing equipment last week that only takes an hour to get results."

Cara smiles at me. I judged her fear correctly. She's afraid of how the doctors in Erudite would react to her situation if she were to ask them, even if the test comes back negative.

"Thank you."

It's not long after that before Tobias and Caleb return, and I'm finally filled in on why we came to Erudite. So, Jeanine will be getting punishment for all her slandering of Abnegation.

Cara leads Tobias and I back to our car, and we part ways with me promising to tell Will that she said she loves him. Now, off to Candor.

At Candor, we are greeted similarly to how we were in Erudite, with another familiar face.

"Stephanie," I greet Christina's mom who is waiting for us by the door to the Merciless Mart.

"Tris, was it?" she asks.

I nod. "Yes."

She smiles. "How is Christina doing?"

As she leads us through the maze of black and white corridors, I find myself recounting how Christina did in initiation as well as her current nurse job in the infirmary.

"I had a feeling that she liked him," Stephanie says when I finally mention Christina's relationship with Will. "Christina tried to tell me that they were just friends."

"Well you can tell her that you told her so this weekend," I say, laughing.

Stephanie agrees with that idea, and we finally arrive at our destination. Today has definitely been way too much walking, and not enough snacking because I'm starting to feel slightly dizzy.

"Before you go, Stephanie," I say, trying to catch her before she gets too far away. She turns to face me, so I continue, "Is there any way someone could bring me a snack? I haven't eaten since breakfast."

"I'll find you something," she replies smiling.

As she heads off, Tobias steers me into Jack Kang's office and has me take a seat.

"I'm sorry, Tris," he says once I'm seated. "I should have thought about having lunch in Erudite before we left."

I shake my head at him. Every time I forget to eat when I'm anywhere with him, Tobias tends to feel like it's his fault that I didn't eat. "It's fine, Four. Stephanie will bring me something."

I know that he will still feel guilty, no matter what I say, so I just leave it as we start to discuss Jeanine's trial with the newest leader in Candor, Jack Kang.

Discussions on the accusations placed against Jeanine go rather quickly, and Stephanie returns with more of a meal than a snack. I am truly grateful for Christina's mother.

Soon enough, we're headed back home to Dauntless where we find our friends placing bets on the gender of our baby.

"Really guys?" I ask them once I've seated myself for dinner. "Does everything have to be a bet?"

"It's not our fault you haven't told us yet," Zeke replies. "We just thought a little friendly bet would make the waiting more fun."

I roll my eyes at him and start in on dinner. I'm so glad that all of my nausea issues stopped at twelve weeks.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry for how long it's been. I hate the level of writers block I keep getting because there's more I want to write to a chapter, but it disappears and I'm stuck with either ending the chapter early or letting it sit until more decides to grace me with its presence.

Well, now we have a question, what gender do you think they'll have in this one? It is only one baby, just letting you all know. The name has already been picked out.

I also have a little extra surprise in store for our beloved Fourtris, a good surprise, but a surprise nonetheless. Anyone want to guess at that surprise? (Hint, it has to do with Evelyn.)
