(2) Hunter Exam: Exciting test X Magical Beasts

✿3rd POV✿

As the four was about to carry on with their adventure, Gon was called back to speak with the captain while Y/N, Kurapika and Leorio were in the city that was kinda near the hunter's exam, but still a long walk. The three stood in front of a giant map, showing the whole city, Y/N still had her over sized haori over her head the her carves. Gon was able to come back and stood right next to Y/N and started to talk about this cedar tree.

"A Cedar tree?"

"Could you have misheard the captain?" Kurapika asks, making sure if Gon was actually being serious about going to the cedar tree. But Gon shook his head.

"I don't think so, he told me to go towards the tree" Gon says as Y/N turns slightly towards Gon.

"I see..: Kurapika says while cupping his own chin a bit.

"And this stupid note isn't any help at all! It says that the exam is in Zabon city bit it doesn't exactly says where!" Leorio grumbled.

"Well, the task is to sight, only using limited information" Kurapika says to Leorio.

"This must be another test to see if we're worthy for the hunters exam" Kurapika explains as Y/N nodded. But then she pulled on Gon's sleeve and Gon looked at her.

"Huh? What is it Y/N?" Gon asks as Y/N pointed the direction on where the cedar will be as Gon smiled. Luckily Y/N's hand didn't burn, it was covered by her kimono sleeve.

"You wanna go up ahead?" Gon asks as Y/N nodded, but Kurapika and Leorio looked at her with a slightly worried and shocked expression on their faces.

"WHAT!? A GIRL LIKE YOU SHOULDN'T BE GOING ON YOUR OWN!!" Leorio calls out as he pointed at the bus that was going to Zabon city.

"ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THAT, THE BUS IS GOING TO LEAVE ANY SECOND SO WHICH WAY ARE YOU EVEN GOING??" Leorio called out loudly as Y/N turned and looked the opposite way from the bus and start to run slightly.

"Wait!" Kurapika calls out as Y/N kept running before taking a turn, leaving a trail of dust behind.

"Don't worry, she'll be fine" Gon says as he looked at both Leorio and Kurapika.

"I'm gonna follow her! Someone around here have to protect her, and that someone is me!" Gon calls out as he starts to jog after where Y/N has ran as Kurapika couldn't help but hold a smile on his face.

"I'm going with you" Kurapika says before walking after Gon, leaving poor Leorio frustrated.

✿Later With Y/N✿

As the girl was running, holding tightly on her haori that was around her whole body, she looked everywhere, left to right, up and down. Y/N was making sure there wasn't any kind of threat around the areas. She cares about Gon, Kurapika and Leorio, even when they just met, she's always willing to protect them.

'Hm...nothing yet, just grass and-' Y/N was cut off by her thoughts but stopping in her tracks, on top of the grassy hill and looked down to see a city near, but it looked a bit run down. 

'A town?....looks pretty suspicious if you ask me. I guess I'll check it out' Y/N thought as she yet again hold onto her haori and started to jog down the hill.

Once she made it, in front of the entrance of the town, Y/N wasn't even panting or breaking a sweat, she started walking into the city and looked around to see run down looking buildings, it gave her the creeps.

'It doesn't look like it, but there's so many people here...I can smell them' Y/N thought.

"So, you're a demon, am I correct?" A voice calls out as Y/N's eyes widen before jumping away from walking any further, and her eyes glared at the person but then her eyes soften when she saw an old lady in front of her.
