Family Again

Hermione smiled; Harry, Remus, Sirius, and the male Weasleys were in the family room discussing the years Sirius had missed.

Molly, Fleur, and Penelope were discussing children in the library while watching Teddy and Victoire played on the floor with the animated dragon figurines Charlie had got them.

Thank Merlin they didn't breathe fire.

She turned and smiled as Viktor, now dressed, sat beside her.

"I am vorry about vour parents, Hermione. Vy didn't vou tell ve?"

Hermione smiled sadly, "With everything going on these past years, it just blended together with all the other things. And then I didn't want to risk your safety when I heard your family went into hiding. Afterwards, Ron..."

"Ah, ves, I have veard about vat."

"How?" Hermione watched as Viktor discreetly nodded in Harry's direction.

Angered, she started to rise when Viktor's voice stopped her, "Ve didn't mean any varm Hermione, ve just vanted to vell me vat if I broke vour heart I am dead." he chuckled towards the end.

Hermione's eyes widened, "Why--"

Then Sirius' words came back to her: 'Still oblivious as ever I see.'

"Hermione, I like vou a lot, vould vou allow me the vonor to court vou?" Viktor whispered so only Hermione could hear; Fred and George cursed because the Extendable Ears didn't pick up a thing.

Hermione smiled and kissed him lightly on the cheek, "I believe I will."

"Do you think it was wrong to say that to Viktor?" Harry nervously asked Remus.

Remus, Sirius, Bill and Arthur all smiled while Sirius answered Harry, " No Prongslet, not at all. She's like your sister afterall."

Then before Harry could retort, Remus and Bill looked at eachother and grinned.

"Oi! What were those smirks for you two?" Charlie laughed.

Remus chuckled, "It seems that Hermione has allowed Viktor to start courting her."

Harry, Sirius, Arthur, Charlie and the twins sat there in dumbfounded silence.

Ginny, after quietly entering the house, silently crept past the kitchen and into the library where the women were convened. She had everyone looking up at her when she placed a Muffilato on the room.

Then she smiled widely and screamed, "VIKTOR'S COURTING MIONE!!!!!"

Everyone, even Teddy, erupted into  happy screams.
