The wind is slowly getting warmer, huh. But still we can't be outside without layers of coat.
The cold breeze pushed Hinata's hair left and right. Spring is near, as he is visiting his hometown. He waits patiently for the train to arrive. His face says it all, he is excited to meet his childhood friends and other relatives.
Not long, the train arrives.
I can't wait to feel nostalgic.
Before every spring, Hinata looks forward to visit his loving town. Its a tradition to him. To him, spring is a season of rest, yet at the same time a transition and one step forward to his improved self. Its more than a vacation.
Spring.
How beautiful. He always thought.
Beautiful sceneries with the ones he value feels like a glimpse of perfection and a touch of heaven.
No.
It is heaven itself.
Hinata let out a sigh, not a sad one though. It was almost a chuckle.
Hinata finally sat on the train's seats. He finally had a time to think, a peaceful environment. Far from his school, where he shreds lots of sweat, it feels chaotic yet it makes him happy. But of course, he needed this rest.
After two hours of travel, he now got the chance to step on his beloved hometown.
"Ah! come hug me, wind!" he extended his hands to the air.
"Onii-chan!" a kid's voice can be heard at a distance. Hinata looked where it was coming from.
"Kina!!! Ohayo!" he exclaimed back. It was his cousin.
They ran towards each other and met with a warm hug that lifts away all of the coldness they get from the season.
"Huh? 'Nii-chan? Your height is still the same!?" said the little girl followed with a hysterical laugh. You can see the embarassment on Hinata's face.
"Don't be like that, Kina."
They walked half an hour until they reached a small village.
Ahh, smells like home.
He greeted everyone there, knowing that it was a small village, everyone knew each other. Same faces throughout the years. He let his eyes wander the place, the people are indeed nice.
About to go where he will stay for the vacation, an unfamiliar person caught his attention.
Huh? Who's that? Lmao he looks creepy why is he frowning like that. Hmm, might ask him later. I need to fix my stuff.
"Granma! I missed you, I always long for your pork buns. You don't always find pork buns that are as good as the one's you are making in the city" he whined like a baby.
His grandma returned a warm smile.
Hinata placed his belongings in a room prepared for him. He was thinking of wandering off to visit everyone.
Oh, that boy earlier. I must befriend him!
While walking around, he then again saw that new person.
"Ohayo!" he waved his hand and ran towards the boy.
"Huh, what. Argh," the boy whispered. Looking annoyed by Hinata's presence. Seemed like he doesn't want any company at all.
Eh? Is he frowning at me? Nanda kore?
"Oh, ohayo! I'm Hinata. Are you from around here?"
"Ah, uhm. Yeah." he coldly replied.
Hinata glanced around. There are people unpacking boxes and bringing out packages out from a truck.
"Oh, so you just moved here. Gomen, I didn't notice."
The boy completely looks uninterested and annoyed. But despite that, Hinata wants to be friends with him. Since he's the only person around his age. Maybe they'll get along.
At least that's what he thought.
"So, ah- what's your name?" Hinata asked while smiling. He's very bright.
"I think I need to help my parents. Excuse me."
Guess I'll try some other time. He really looks he's about to poo with his (ಠ_ಠ ) face.
Hinata humourously imitated the boy's face in his head.
Yeah. Maybe some other time.
