Chapter 5:Decisions
Neither of us said a word we just stared. I don't trust Alexis I feel like she will rat me out and I'm to beautiful to spend my life behind bars! I'm not even 30 yet! Thinking of saving myself I tell Alexis "the people at the hotel saw us saw you! We gotta go now!!" Alexis and I quickly pack again! What a waste of 500$."Ju what about my appearance? I'm all over the news!" Lexie says. "Fuck" I say to myself. I immediately grab my scissors."Let's cut your hair on the picture it's long and curly." I said."Ju I've been growing my hair for years-!" Lexie's says but before she can continue I say"Look Lexie either you want hair or freedom which one?.... Exactly." Chopping off Lexie's beautiful hair I'm definitely enjoying seeing her confidence fade. Pulling out some baggy jogging pants and an oversized T I tell Alexis "put this on and let me draw freckles on your face." Once we're done disguising Alexis I call a taxi I don't want to take any chances with Uber and I put my hair in a low bun and Lexie and I put on fitted caps to look more manly. I take Alexis phone and power it off then I dropped it in the toilet. Of course Lexie cries oh well.I turned my phone off and turned my burner phone on.Once the cab arrives we carry our belongings downstairs without giving the key back. We paid cash anyways and I showed my fake ID. Thank God Lexie DIDN'T show hers this time because hers definitely says Zoe Marles and I'm sure Michigan Police will be on the way. Entering the cab my burner phone was going off but I didn't bother to answer. I have enough money in my stash to move to New York so I can be closer to my mother and just start a new life there, maybe even start dating plus my moms crime family is there and I know if no one Julio will look out for me money wise. Making our way to the train station I purchase two tickets to Ohio. Lexie and I will take the train to Ohio get a motel room there and map out our next moves. One thing is for certain Alexis will not be going to New York with me. While we are on the train I get a disturbing phone call on my burner phone from black. I move away from Alexis to take the call.
"WHAT THE FUCK YO." Black says furiously. Making my way to the back of the train I said "Man I know this girl so fucking stupid!" Black Sigh and says "Both of y'all bitches dizzy at this point! Noah's case worker is looking for Alexis obviously she saw the news with the rest of us where the fuck y'all at!"
"Nigga first off don't you ever try to disrespect me! I'm not one of your bitches and I'm not one of yo baby fucking mother's! Do you see my face on the fucking news Nigga? Like I said yo bitch is an airhead and I can only do so much to help this bitch! I don't owe y'all shit! I'm done with Alexis I left that bitch at the hotel!" I said whispering yet heated!
"What the fuck you mean you left her Jaliyah?" Black says heatedly. He even said my fake real name Jaliyah like I said no one but my immediate family knows my government name. "Nigga I gotta think about me so look you go help her I'm DONE! I ain't do shit so I ain't going down for no hoe! Goodbye Black!" I said still trying to keep my voice down. No one is on the back of the train but I still need to be careful. Walking back to my seat I whisper to Alexis "Don't tell anyone anything! Not even black let everyone think you're still in Michigan!"Alexis looks at me with tears in her eyes and says "thanks Ju for everything I love you girl." I just lay my head on her shoulder. Rather Alexis knows it or not I'm only looking out for me. 3 hours later we arrive in Ohio and we are dropped off at the Ohio train station. "Come on." I tell Alexis. we started walking down the busy street and I see an auto shop selling a few cars. One is a GMC truck all white the next one was an 2013 Honda Accord all black for $2800 and the last one was a 1990 something red car. Telling Lexie "wait here" I make the purchase with my fake ID I always keep my stash on me. Pulling up to the corner of the street to get Alexis I ask her "Are you hungry?"
"Straving! When can I get another phone Ju." Lexie says. "Soon Lex let's get some Arby's." I said pulling into the Arby's drive through. After eating our food in the car it's now 9:50pm. "We will get a motel room at midnight. I need to make sure no one followed us let's find a low key spot." I said driving off. Pulling up to some creepy deserted place called Helltown Lexie and I sit."Why here Ju?" Lexie says.
"We have to be more careful Lexie we will leave in a min." I said."I trust you Ju. I'm about to get some rest though is that cool? I just wanna close my eyes for a min." Lexie says looking me in my eyes. Making Eye Contact with Lexie I say "Go head Lex I got yo back." Alexis kissed me on the cheek and turns around to close her eyes. I reach in my driver side door and grab the knife I planted there when I first entered the car. I opened the knife quietly,and quickly reach over to stab Alexis in her throat her eyes popped wide open while she gagged.
