Elliwin plucked each petal of the rose in her hand without any thought of it's worth. Roses. Ha. The flowers were beautiful with thorns that hurt if you even touched them. Bet they even hurt some beings when they look at them.
Elliwin viewed her sister in this way, knowing she was more talented, knowing she was more beautiful, knowing she was more loved. Yes, her parents had choosen long ago that they'd favor the younger daughter.

"A girl is here! She wishes to see you."
"My sister?" Elliwin cringed with disgust at her own voice. It was so dull and boring, unlike Raven White's kind, alert tone.
Sisters...

"Send her in."
