|| Shawn's POV ||

Okay this is it the moment I've replayed over and over again in my head.

"Y/N I have feelings for you and I always have. Your smile can light up the darkest days, hell it can cure cancer if it wanted to. Look you might not feel the same about me but I think it's better is I to-." I was cut off my her lips smashing into mine.

"I'm sorry Shawn." she said with her eyes brimming with tears.

"No Y/N it's okay. I love you." I said kissing her forehead.

"I love you too." she said holding her tears back with a smile.

|| Y/N's POV ||

SHAWN FVCKING MENDES just told me he loved me. How should I take this, I practically came back from the dead to this!

How would I tell Matt what just happened. Will he be mad. My thoughts were interrupted by the beeping thing was going off faster and faster my heart rate was going up.

"Y/N, Y/N calm down." Shawn said in panic.

"Get Matt." I said feeling pressure on me.

"Y/N what's wrong?!" Matt said holding me gently.

"My heart rate is going up a-and m-my back h-hurts." I said crying.

"Y/N you'll be okay I believe in you and i love you." is all I heard before my vision started getting hazy.

No I'm not letting go not know. Life is finally getting good and I do not want to leave in this chapter.

~ 3 Days Later ~

"Y/N baby please you need to put some fight into this doctor says if you can't get up now then never." I heard Matt's voice crack and felt his tear fall hopelessly on my arm. I flinched a little and his head shot up.

"Y/N please give me a sign." he yelled.

"How long has it been??" I asked sitting up rubbing my head.

"3 painful, dreadful, meaningless days without you." he said looking up with bags under his eyes showing he hasn't slept.

"Matthew have you slept." I said cupping his face.

"No I haven't I couldn't even if I tried." He said looking at me straight in the eyes.

"Matt come here and get some rest." I said patting the space next to me.

"Y/N I shou-." he said rubbing the back of his neck before I cut him of.

"Matt I really miss your cuddles." I said looking down.

"Okay I guess." he said laying down gently.

"I've missed you Matt." I said hugging him.

"You have no idea." he said kissing the top of my head.

This is the only place I feel safe in his arms. If god were to take me away right now I wouldn't mind as long as I know Matt loves me, nothing in the world matters.

"Hey Y/N." Matt whispered

"Yea." I said.

"What did Shawn tell you??" He asked suspicious. I tensed up.

"Well Matt he came in he told me what he did and he told me he loved me and then we kissed." The word 'kiss' rolled off my tongue like venom, hard and vicious. When I told Matt I felt him tense up and let me go.

"Oh I see." Matt said sitting up.

"Matt please calm down the kiss didn't me anything to me. Matt please don't leave me." I said almost breaking into tears.

"Give me one reason I shouldn't." he spat at me.

"B-because you're the only I was fighting for, you're the only person I was thinking about. If I left I'd be leaving my happiness."

His expression softened and he picked me up out of my bed and thank god I didn't feel pain. he carried me bridal style.

"Y/N, I know it's safe to say you're the best thing that's ever happened to me." he said wrapping my leg around him.
