you sit in the garrison with the boys. tommy is the one speaking the most.
you've been dating tommy for a year now and he won't shut up about his dead ex wife-grace.
"i miss her. she was so beautiful." he sighs.
your jaw drops "so i guess i'm not!"
"you know that's not what i meant. i love you."
"prove it. don't talk about fucking grace for a week." you sit back giving him a death stare.
later that night, you're lying in bed when tommy walks in and tries to kiss you on the head. you don't really want to talk to him so i turn the way.
tommy tries to kiss your head but you just kick him away.
"i'm sorry. i love you. from now on, i won't talk about grace."
you turn back around to face him "really?"
"yes. of course." he says, moving my hair behind your ear.
for the next week, tommy doesn't mention it grace once!
but it was to good to be true!
after that it was just grace this, grace that!
after a few months, you finally snapped! "SHUT UP ABOUT GRACE ALREADY!"
you run out the door and leave. you're not going back. tommy only cares about grace!
