"we're year sevens now!" my bestfriend chanted in my ear. I grinned nodding excitedly. We strolled to the bus stop waiting with other new year seven students. It was our first day and only year sevens go ,the rest of school the next day.
The bus turned up soon, the bus driver was a lady with dark jet black hair and tattoos all over her arms. I smiled at my bestfriend pinching her arm slightly as we followed some students onto the bus some paying money and some with passes.
We quickly chose our seats and decided to stay down stairs. We made brief discussion on how nervous we were. We turned up quickly outside school, everyone hopping of the bus and making our way into school.
A sign layed out side the reception Reading 'welcome all year sevens' I smiled at maisie next to me and we made our way to our formroom dumping our bags on random seats and deciding to go get a snack in the Cantine.
I ordered a bacon bap and waited pationtly for my hot chocolate. Some students walking past and saying hi. We knew some as from our old school, some just random boys smirking at each other. I straigtened my shirt as the head teacher walked past and said a hello to us.
-*-
"maisie..." the teacher called as my bestfriend replied with a here miss. The rest of the form doing so at their turn. And stupid enough I was at the end of the register with my stupid lastname starting with w. We got given a piece of paper showing us our daily lessons we were to go to each day.
Me and maisie being together in all except science and maths. Everyone joked about maths standing for: mental abuse to humans....

The bus journey back was alright, I got asked out twice and said no to both. Maisie had None which I was surprised at as maisie is the most georgeous person I know.
I checked my facebook when I got home and found 23 new friend requests. Seriously? I had no idea who half of these people were.
-*-
" ready for the second day?" maisie asked me as we locked up my house placing the keys under the door mat. We walked slowly down the road to the bus stop staring at the crowd of students looking at us approaching.
I pinched maisie grabbing onto her blazer so I wouldn't lose her in the crowd trying to get onto the bus. I knew this would be a tough job.
Most people went upstairs so me and maisie stayed down again.
I turned around finding a really fit boy sat behind us looking out the window with headphones in his ears. I nudged maisie to look behind and gave her the ever-fancy-him-you're-dead-as-he's-mine look. She smirked and turned her attention back to her phone. Probably on twitter.
-*-
"you're going out with someone!" I screamed. Maisie trying to calm me down. "who?" I muttered over and over again. She never told me at all.
Little did I know that this was a going to be a rollercoaster ride soon...
