Mine!

Team Bonding part 1

It has been a couple of weeks since the incident and I have been taking a rest because I couldn't play when my arms were shot. I was a bit disappointed when I was told not to play but I knew it was for the better and I wanted my arms to heal as fast as possible so I could go onto the court.

As I walked into the gym I was greeted by my teammates harassing me asking if I was okay and checking up on me. I didn't know how I felt about this, its just I had mixed emotions. I was a bit pissed that they were huddling around me and I couldn't get to the bench to sit down but I was also happy because even if I was a snotty, salty brat towards all of them... they still care about me... I feel guilty at what I have been saying to them for months on end. I didn't like how they were always so nice towards me but... I was really never nice towards them.

"Hey are you ok Shirabu? You look like your spacing out" I snapped back into reality to see Tendo's face near mine. I backed away slowly from him with a disgusted look on my face. I honestly didn't mean to react like that, it's just my body won't let me control myself when I want to do things. I end up making snarky comments and mean things to say.

"Yeah I am fine"

"Hey we are going to have a Teams bonding again! It's this Saturday at 10am! We meet here by the entrance of the school" I can see the look on everyone's face that they were ready for the answer I was going to give them. 'No, I am busy studying' 'No I have something to do' 'No, I don't want to waste my time on you guys' I felt guilt burn up inside me quickly when I remembered the reply I would normally give them.

"Sure"

Everyone was in shock when they heard my answer. They all stood there frozen blinking a couple of times to process what I just said.

"Wait, can you say that again?" Kawanishi asked, testing if they heard me correctly.

"I said 'sure' I will go"

It's like I made everyone's day. Their faces lot up and they came over to me and we did a group hug, even Semi was happy. I am happy that I was able to make everyone's day. 'Maybe they are not like other people' 'Maybe they are actually wanting to become friends with me' (I forgot to mention in Shirabu's past, people became friend with him bit then the next day bullied him)

•Time skip~ Saturday at Tendo's house•

As soon as I get to Tendo's house I see Tendo by his kitchen making some food. He turns his face toward the window and we make eye contact. All I see is his shocked face and him moving away from the kitchen and towards the door. I hear the door locked and it slammed open, seeing a very surprised Tendo standing there.

"Y-you actually came!" His shocked feeling started to fade away and out came a very bright smile and his eyes full of stars and happiness. I hear a lot of running and the whole group stared at me. I feel like they keep seeing a ghost somewhere around me but I am not sure. Suddenly, I can see a bowl cut brat running towards me and embraces me.

"We all thought you weren't going to come" I only stood there frozen for a moment then relaxed a bit but was still a bit tense.

"Umm, I did say I was comming, didn't I?" They all stared at me and I can sense the guilt in them all, even Goshiki who is still clinged on to me.

"Umm... well... you see..." Kawanishi started.

"You never come to the team bondings so we thought you were only playing with us and was going to ditch us." Ushijima started comming into view as he finished what Kawanishi was trying to say. They all started to look guilty but I can't blame them. Ugh, when did I become such a softie?!
