   GENESIS' POV

Maybe I should have been nicer to Natasha... Nah, she'd be all right. Besides, she was the famous Black Widow. I'm sure the way that I acted just then didn't even phase her. If it did bother her, then I would be doing her a favor by even being here in the first place.

Once Stark led me inside the room that I would be staying in, I looked around as I asked him,"Is this the biggest room that isn't occupied?"

Stark answered,"Even if it wasn't, Genesis, I wouldn't give it to you."

I ignored Stark's sass before I said to him,"You can go, Stark. I'll take a look around myself to see what other rooms are available."

Stark headed towards the door, then he put his hand on the doorknob before he said,"Didn't plan on staying, babe. Good luck with your search."

I just smirked at Tony as I knew that he was frustrated right now. He closed the door behind him, and I looked at all the boxes surrounding the bed. Though, I decided not to unpack anything since I wasn't staying in this room.
Then, I grabbed my phone before I made my way out of the room. With that, I began my search, but I didn't know which way to go first. I spotted Thor in the kitchen, and I smirked. I walked into the kitchen, clearing my throat.

I held out my hand but smiled innocently at Thor as I said,"Hello, Thor. I'm Genesis. I don't know if you've heard about me yet from the others, but I'm the new member of this team. It's nice to meet you."

However, I didn't get the reaction from Thor that I intended to get.

Thor just looked at my hand before he said angrily,"I do not wish to shake your hand, Lady Genesis! You hurt Lady Romanoff, and she is family!"

I rolled my eyes on the inside, but on the outside, I replied,"But didn't Natasha tell you? We're good now. I was just being a jerk, and I acknowledged that."

Thor looked at me for a moment before he shook my hand as he said,"If you have apologized to Lady Romanoff, then we are good as well!"

I pulled my hand back, and then I said to Thor,"Thor, it appears that Tony forgot to show me where I would be staying. He seemed to be in a rush, and I was wondering if you would show me where the biggest room available is in this big place?"

Thor nodded, then he smiled at me as he answered,"Of course, Lady Genesis! Please follow me."

I followed Thor, and he showed me where the biggest room was. Then, he allowed me to control who came in and out of the room. I thanked him, and he walked down the hall.
I quickly moved all of my boxes into my new room before I unpacked everything. When everything was where I wanted it to be, I still felt like something was missing. But I pushed it aside and got ready for bed.

Once I was in bed, I just felt uncomfortable. I kept changing the way that I was positioned, but it helped nothing. I got up and grabbed the pillow and the covers before I laid down on the hard floor instead. I closed my eyes before I quickly fell asleep.
When I woke up two hours later, I decided to grab a cup of water from the kitchen. I almost didn't notice Hawkeye sitting on the living room couch not too far away from where I stood.

He said, with his back turned to me,"You must be Genesis. Stark wasn't lying. You're very beautiful, but you're not as sharp as you think you are."

I said,"I am Genesis, and it's nice to meet you, too. I don't know your name, though, but I hear that most people don't know it either."

  I heard,"Barton, easy."

I turned before I quickly caught the arrow that almost went through my right hand.

Captain America kept his eye on Hawkeye, yet he said to me directly,"Genesis, you were chosen to be the newest member of this team for a reason. I suggest you treat those who will be out there beside you with respect. Training starts tomorrow at 9."

I walked up to Captain America before I said,"Don't tell me what I should and shouldn't do, Rogers. I'll be there tomorrow at 9. Don't worry about that."

Captain America crossed his arms as he told me,"Ma'am, I have every right to address how you've been treating those that I care about. I also won't worry about seeing you tomorrow at 9 because you'll now be training individually with Natasha."

  I took a sip of my water as I said,"Great! I can't wait."
