CHAPTER TWENTY

"STOP the car she said, I'm fine she said," Mehki grumbled beneath her breath.

"Why can't she get that I'm actually looking out for her."

Mekhi grew irritated with Curioss. She was the type to shut every and anyone out when she's going through something.

She wanted to be there to comfort her friend more than anything, from the moment she fucked up dude's car just for her, she knew they were in it for the long run and that no petty argument wouldn't come between their friendship.

She didn't give a fuck if she was angry, be mad at her later but right now? She needed to help her, she needed to be there for her.

"Bitch prolly waiting at the sidewalk thinking a taxi gon come, ain't nobody tryna get robbed in that bad ass part of town," She shook her head and made a sharp U-turn.

Mehki got out of the car when she saw that Curioss was not at the sidewalk like she expected. She walked further down and there was still no sign of her friend.

When Mehki arrived at the graveyard, she saw fresh blood on one of the stones and Curioss's bag on the ground.

She immediately called her brother.

"Saint something's wrong with Curioss, I need you to get down at the graveyard that's outta town asap."

Saint sat up from his desk, "You got yo piece Mekhi?"

She gripped her purse and muttered a quick 'yeah.' She sighed as the call ended and took out her gun that her brother gave her incase of emergencies.

Knowing that she was out of town and Curioss went missing had Saint's head spinning. He wasn't too worried about his sister; then again he was. She knew how to handle herself but of course, he was her bigger brother it was only natural that he worried.

A few moments later, Saint, Double, Stacks and Lyric pulled up at the graveyard.

"What happened?"

"I don't know, she was mad because of something Karmen said to her at the mall, then she said she wanted to go home; she got mad and told me to pull over so I did," Mehki rambled on.

Lyric walked over to the stone that was covered in blood and began to analyze it.

"Why you let her get out of the car Mehki!?" Double yelled and ran a hand through his hair, pacing around.
