Elijah's Pov-

Fields and trees went by as the small black car drove down the road. Rabbits and squirrels ran freely throughout the trees and fields. Flowers were at full bloom making the scenery beautiful and almost even peaceful.

Everything was so beautiful and free, well everything but me. I am the opposite of beautiful and free, scars, deep scars that litter my body. Ugly scars that will always be there to hunt me, to remind me. The scenery we past mocks me.

I close my eyes and lean back in my seat. I can hear Rose, my social worker, trying to talk to me, but I don't listen. I don't want to listen, I don't want to talk, I don't want to be here, I want to close my eyes and never open them again. I want to completely disappear. I want pain. No. I deserve pain. Death is to easy.

I dig my nails into my arms when I hear Rose say almost there. I slip on my emotionless mask. Never show your emotions. Never trust anyone. Never fall in love. I replay my three rules in my head, if I follow these rules nobody could truly hurt me.

We pull into a gated property and...... holy shit..... that is a huge house. House isn't even the right word, more like mansion. There in front of me stood a two story cream colored house, with a blue roof. They even had a water fountain in the front with plants surrounding it. Though I was amazed, I didn't show it.

Two people stood in the front of the house. One being a tall man, around 6;6 from what I can tell. His hair was dirty blonde, and he had dark emerald eyes. He had a short beard that suited him rather well, and a sharp jawline. His suit hugged his masculine body perfectly so that you could practically see his firm biceps. After briefly studying the man's features, I shifted my gaze to what I found was a boy who looked a little older than myself. He had stunning light green eyes, and light brown hair, he looked a couple inches taller than me, and looked like a model. I heard what sounded like a distant voice but I wasn't sure because I found myself staring at those hypnotizing light green eyes.

I suddenly lost my sense of hearing and every sound came muffled to my ears, all I could do was stare deeply into those green eyes with a blank face. That was until I felt a bit of pressure on my left shoulder, I slightly flinched and I turned my head slowly to see who or what was the cause of the pressure on my shoulder. I found myself now looking at the man I had seen first.

"What do you say kid?" he asked in a somewhat jolly tone with a dashing smile painted on his face.

I was confused for a bit, but I didn't show it on my face. I then realized that he must've asked me a question. "Can you repeat that...'' I paused not knowing what to call him.

I assumed he wasn't new to this, because instantly he knew what my pause had meant and responded, "Oh! he let out a small chuckle. My name is Eric, but most of the boys here just call me sir!"

I shifted my feet feeling awkward a bit and simply stated, "Oh...well then, can you repeat the question sir?"

"Ah yes, the question..'' he furrowed his eyebrows and placed a hand on his chin concentrating on what i assumed to be what the question was.

"Eric asked if you would like me to escort you inside and show you the rest of the boys, or perhaps show you, your room?"

I looked over to where the sound came from and found myself yet again, trapped under the light green eyes. Feeling the urge to smoke I chose the second option. He nodded and slowly turned around, and started walking. Picking up my one bag I followed him in.
