Chasing You

Days passed and everything's smooth in here. Except for me and Connor. These past few days, I kept on chasing him even though I know he'll ignore me or whatever. But there's a will in me to make him friends with me and what I'm doing now is preparing what to wear cause I'm going to see Connor again.

"Sophie, how do I look?" I said while smiling.

"You look human."

I rolled my eyes. Sometimes I don't get Sophie. Is she my cousin or what?

"Okay okay! I'm sorry. You look wonderful. I'm sure Connor's gonna like you."

"Really? Great!"

"Again, let me tell you this Rian. You're making friends with Connor because he's Connor. Not because he looks like Quen."

"For a thousand times, I already said I know it. Don't worry. Your bestfriend will not be a rebound. I promise. If I learn to love him, isn't it a good sign?"

"I think so... if you'll love him then it's a sign of moving on."

"That's why I'm seeing Connor. I want to know him better. Who knows? I might love him in the future."

I went to Mcdonough's house. There's Riley, Toby and ofcourse Connor.

"Hey guys! What ya doin'?"

"Hey Rian. We're working on our new music."

"Yeah. Connor's the mastermind of all this."

"Hi Connor!"

"Whatever. Go home!"

He's always like that. He wants me to go home or go away whenever I'm around. Did I make a really bad impression to him?

"Why do you have to be so rude to me? All I want is to be friends with you. I'm sorry if I mess up your life but please, give me a chance."

"I got lots of friends. I don't need another one."

"I won't stop. You can't stop me. Whether you like it or not, I will always be around you. Even if you keep on pushing me away."

I said while crossing my arms.

"Do whatever you like. I don't care."

"Stop it guys. Rian, come sit here."

I sat on the couch near Riley. Connor went out of the house.

"Please understand our brother Rian. You see, Connor's a great guy. I think he's a little irritated by you. Also, her girlfriend just broke up with him. That's why he has mood swings."

"She had a girlfriend? Why did they split?"

"Aaahh... her girlfriend saw you kissing Connor. She thought that my brother's cheating on her."

"Oh my Gosh! What did I do? I ruined a relationship because of my insanity."

Now I know why Connor hates me. Her girlfriend broke up with her because of me.

"But it's not a real kiss. I was drunk that night and I thought he's Quen that's why I kissed him."

"We know. Connor already told us."

Said Toby

"What did Connor do? Did he explain himself?"

"Yeah! But Lora didn't believe him. She's still mad at Connor."

"Oh no.. I made a huge mistake! I need to put things right. Right?"

"We guess so?"

I went back to Sophie and asked about Connor.

"You didn't tell me he has a girlfriend."

"You didn't ask so I didn't tell you. Who cares about Lora? I don't like her for Connor. It's better they end up early."

"Why do you hate her? What's wrong?"

"Lora's a plastic. She might look like an angel but when she's at your back, she's a devil. She's so pretentious! Only Connor didn't notice it."

"Really?"

"Yeah. If you're planning to make those two together again, I'm telling you. Don't!"

"O-okay."

I admit. At first, I want Connor and Lora to be together again but when Sophie told me about Lora, I changed my mind. They broke up? So be it!

It's already 8 in the evening and I'm still awake. I'm on the living room watching Letters to Juliet. I love Romantic movies FYI.

I heard a loud knock on the door. Did Sophie send some visitors tonight?

"Wait! I'm coming..."

I opened the door and to my surprise it was Connor who's knocking. He smells alcohol. I was about to ask him when he grabbed me swiftly and put me in his car.

"Hey! Stop driving, you're drunk!"

"Shut up!"

For God's sake! I don't come here in Florida to execute my life. I still want to live!

He stops at a house. Mcdonough's house is much bigger than this. But who cares? My wrist is aching. He holds them so tight.

"Ouch Connor! You're hurting me."

"Lora! Lora! Open up the door!"

So, this is Lora's house? Great! Now, I'm dead.

Then a lady opened the door for us. She's just like my height. She has a pretty face. Oohh.. nice legs! My legs are way better than her. She's not a threat.

"C-connor? What are you --? You brought your other woman here?! How dare you!"

"She's not related to me okay? I brought her here so I can explain myself."
