________Yeonjun's POV________
"Why is she taking so many leaves? Is she sick?" I asked as I placed my head on Soobin's shoulder munching down the tasteless cafeteria food. "Stop whining, you've been talking about her non-stop" Beomgyu said rolling his eyes and I sat up straight with a sad face "I miss her!". "Then why don't you confess to her? I mean every girl here wants to get you so anyway she won't reject you" Taehyun said and I sighed "Y/n is not like the other girls, that's the problem" . "Then you're never gonna get her if all you do is stare at her and daydream about her" Kai said and I got up madly. I walked through the corridors but paused when I heard Y/n's best friend Lucas talking about something.
I eavesdropped hoping to get some information about her. "Will you confess to Y/n about your feelings? When?" The other one asked him as my eyes widened "she said she'll come tomorrow and I'll be confessing tomorrow only" Lucas shyly said "go on man! Someone's going to get a girlfriend soon" the other boy cheered as my blood boiled. I walked out of that place "I need to do something, I can't waste more time. But when, Y/n is absent today, ughhhh" I messed with my hair as I was frustrated. I had no clue on what to do. I was so deeply in love with her that watching her with someone else breaks my heart. I need to do something, today!

____Y/n's POV____
"Bye bye Mom and Dad!" I bid goodbyes to my parents who were leaving for a business party. "I'll finally get some alone time" I sighed as I plopped on my bed but I huffed in annoyance as soon as I heard a loud growl of my stomach. "I need food" I said and lazily walked towards my kitchen to grab a packet of chips. I came back and looked at the window "eh? My window was closed awhile ago!" I thought to myself as I walked towards the window and looked outside to see no one. "There is no wind either" I said as I was creeping out. I've been a scaredy cat through out my life. I locked the window and took a seat on my bed. I flinched as soon as I heard a noise from my closet. Tf is going on? "Who is there?" I yelled but got no response, my heart was beating like crazy.
I slowly walked towards the closet and reluctantly opened it "AaaaAaaaAaAaAAaaAAAa" I screamed when I felt a person standing there, he screamed too. I hid my face with my hands and slowly peeked up "You?" I stepped back "Hi! It's Yeonjun" I let out a breath of relief first and yelled "Yahhh! Are you crazy? You scared me to death, what are you doing inside my closet?". "I-I'm sorry, you were not coming to school and I was just worried for you so I thought of checking up on you" he replied lowering his head "CheCKinG uP oN yoU! Like this? Sneaking into my house. What do you think of yourself huh? Just cuz' you're the popular guy everything you do is fine? Bullshit " I shouted and he sadly looked at me "I just wanted to make sure you're fine" he whispered and I sighed.
"Come out" I pulled him out of the closet and he stood infront of me like a good boy. Not gonna lie, he was so cute, I felt guilty for scolding him. My thoughts interrupted when I suddenly heard muffled sobs "omg? Are you crying?" I asked holding his face up and a tear escaped his eyes. "Omg!! Why??? I'm sorry!" I said not knowing what to do "I'm sorry, I d-didnt mean t-to s-scare you, I just wanted to s-see if you're doing fine, I c-could'nt help but worry about you these days and t-today when I heard Lu-" I cut him off mid sentence and pulled him into a hug. He wrapped his hands on my waist and cried on my shoulders. I feel so bad now. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have scolded you like that" I said and soon pulled out when I realised I was actually hugging the boy I've had a crush on since ages. I felt butterflies on my tummy when I processed his words on my mind. I was mentally screaming by then.
"Sit here" I pulled his hand and made him sit on my bed as I was seated beside him "Why are you not coming to school? Are you sick?" He asked turning his head with softened eyes and I nodded a no "I was just tired of school so much, I thought of taking a break for awhile" I said and he nodded "i'mma join from tomorrow" I continued and he replied "I know Lucas-" he paused mid sentence "can you not go tomorrow?" He suddenly asked and I got confused "what do you mean?" I asked and he sighed rubbing his forehead. I was pretty sure he was hiding something from me. "What's up? Yeonjun??" "I like you" my eyes widened when I heard those words from his mouth. "I can't waste another minute thinking the right time will come. Y/n, I like you and I wanted to confess. This is another reason I came to meet you tonight. Today in the morning I heard Lucas was going to confess to you tomorrow and I can't accept the thought of you with someone else, I love you and I want you to be mine, only mine" he said and stared deep into my soul.
I was so puzzled that I didn't know how to react "a-are you going to reject me?" He asked, scared and I chuckled "you're so cute" he smiled seeing me smile. "How do you know Lucas is going to confess?" I asked and he replied pouting "I heard him talk to his friends". "So umm, what about my confession?" He asked and I smiled "what are you going to do if I don't feel the same?" I asked trying to tease him "I'm going to make you feel the same" he confidently said "so? Do you not like me?" He asked and I blushed, I didn't know what to say, I was never good at these cheesy stuff "well.... I'm bad at all this but I feel the same, I've had a crush on you since ages now" I said and his face lightened up "Really?" He asked excitedly and I nodded "I love you!" He wrapped his arms on my waist, side hugging me as I blushed hard. He waited for my reply "do I have to say it back?" I asked cringing and he nodded like a toddler "I-I love you too!"
