People called him a fat pig, a useless good for nothing, a nerd without a good-looing face. Despite those mean and nasty comments, Lee Jeno lived in his small village with his grandmother alone, not caring about the outside word. For him, his grandmother's love was the most important gift amongst many other things he had cherished.

When he was fifteen, his high-school friends transformed into bullies, teasing the poor boy for his looks and his body. It wasn't like he was overweight but they had managed to brainwash his mind into thinking that he was indeed gaining too much weight and no one would like him for who he is.

None of that mattered when he came back home as his Grandmother waited for her grandson by the doorsteps with a glass of hot chocolate. The worries he had carried would always wash away as soon as his eyes landed upon his beloved granny. Those bullies were nothing compared to his Grandmother's love.

The bullying got worse when he had turned sixteen. His classmates used him for his money after finding out that Jeno's father was a rich businessman working in Seoul, South Korea's capital. Jeno still didn't mind and got used to running errands.

After two years of non stop torture, Lee Jeno finally snapped when his classmates started to tease him about his Grandmother's death. That was the line and they had crossed it, which meant he wasn't going to let anyone talk bad about someone he had loved.

At that time, Jeno stood at his lowest. His grandmother left him and he felt like the loneliest person in the world. Without a proper warning, his father forced his son to move in with him. There were no objections as Lee Jeno wanted to escape this village and its painful memories.
