                                       Hiyoko's POV

I was standing there, while the others jeered me on because I stank. I hadn't taken a shower because of my stupid kimono, as I couldn't put it on myself. My eyes started to tear up, and I started crying right there in front of everybody. "Waaaaaaaaaah!" I cried out. "Oh, she's crying!" Ibuki stated, as if it not being obvious already. But suddenly, a voice shouted over everyone else's. "I've said it before, but you guys are really insensitive!" I recognized the voice, it was Mahiru. I hadn't talked to her at all since this whole ^killing game^ started. 

I stopped crying for a second, but that didn't last long. "Ah no...it actually doesn't smell ^that^ bad... I mean, as long as I breathe with my mouth.." Said Kazuichi hesitantly. "Waaaaaaaaah!" I cried out again. "Are you even takin' baths?" Akane asked. "I stopped crying to answer the question. "...No." I said slowly. "Y-You haven't bathed?!" Hajime exclaimed in shock. I had to defend myself. "I..I can't help it... I can't tie my kimono sash by myself..." saying that made me want to cry more, so I did.

"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!" I cried out even louder this time. "H-Hey...Hiyoko... you don't have to cry so much..." Mahiru said in a comforting tone. "I'll tie your sash for you, okay?" she finished. "Really?" I asked. "I can only tie a simple knot, but...if that's okay with you, I can teach you." 

She was so much nicer than everyone. Than my mother, and my grandmother. she didn't put nails in my shoes or send me away, she was nice. The last time I have had someone who actually cared about me was my dad..

"Yaaaay!" I exclaimed. "I love you, Mahiru! I'll give you a kiss!" "H-Hey Hiyoko... You don't have to hug me." Mahiru blushed.

"...Kehehe, she appears to have taken a liking to you." Gundham stated. "Welcome to the world of girl love! It's slippery when wet!" Ibuki said excitedly. 

"Me and Mahiru are gonna go take a shower now!" I shouted. "Bye everyone," Mahiru said before we left.

                                                   Mahiru's POV

Hiyoko basically dragged me into her cottage, and then brought me into her bathroom. "H-Hiyoko! I will wait outside the room, okay? just call me when you are ready." I furiously blushed as I ran out of the room. Whew, that was close. I didn't want to see her undressed without her consent, well, I guess she let me when she brought me into her cottage, but, just to make sure I don't make her uncomfortable, I'll wait outside.

"Mahiruuuuuu! Come join me!" Hiyoko shouted. "J-Join you?- Hiyoko are you sure?" I asked in shock. "Yes, Mahiru, now come in!!" So then I went inside the bathroom slowly. She hadn't taken off her clothes yet, so I guessed she was waiting for me. "Cmon, lets get undressed and take a shower!" Hiyoko said excitedly.  "I- uhm, okay, Hiyoko." I gave in and got undressed. (OH BTW THIS IS NOT SOME WEIRD YAOI THING THIS IS GONNA BE WHOLESOME DON'T BE DECEIVED)

I got in the shower with her, and we started to wash ourselves. "Mahiru, I hope this isn't a weird thing to say, but, you are very pretty!" Hiyoko said while smiling. My face turned red within seconds. "I-I uh- y-you too?" That's all that i could say at the time.

                                                         After the shower  (still Mahiru's POV)

We both got out of the shower and dried ourselves. I got dressed, and Hiyoko put on everything other than her sash, waiting for me. I helped her tie the sash and tried to teach her how to do it. She learned a little, I wouldn't say she can fully do it yet, but she's getting there. We had a thing where we would shower together and then i would help her with her sash every time. After a while, she told me how she had completely forgotten how to tie her sash and needed me to do it again. I thought she had fully learned it, but, I guess I was wrong. Well, just last week she showed me how she could perfectly tie the knot, but she must have forgotten how to.

                                               Hiyoko's POV

I lied to her. I know how to tie a knot, but I'm afraid that if she finds out that I can tie it, she won't want to have showers with me anymore, or maybe even hang out with me anymore. She's the only person here who was nice to me, I can't lose her. I tell her that the days when we don't shower together, I don't shower at all. That is also a lie, I take showers almost everyday now. I can tie the sash, and do it all now.

I was having a shower by myself and as soon as I finished, I got out and dried myself and got dressed. (Sash included.) But when I got out of the bathroom, I got shocked to see Mahiru standing there with a look on her face. "I thought you couldn't tie the sash??" She asked. Wait, today is one of the days where we were supposed to shower together! Oh my god, how could I forget?! She's gonna find out that I can tie the sash and now she won't want to hang around me anymore. "W-Well, I just thought that if you found out that I could tie it, you wouldn't want to do it for me or hang out with my anymore.." I said quietly. "Hiyoko, you know I wouldn't do that. You are a very good friend of mine and I would never even think about doing it." Mahiru said. Friend.... I don't want to be her friend. I want to be more than friends with Mahiru. You know what. Since I have felt like this for a while, I'll just be straightforward with her. Okay, you can do this, Hiyoko.

"No, Mahiru, I don't want to be your friend." I said. "W-What? Hiyoko, what do you mean?" I could tell she was confused. "I want to be more than friends with you, Mahiru, I love you as more than a friend." I said and my face turned red. "A-Ah! I shouldn't of said that, I'm sorry-" I was cut off by Mahiru saying: "Hiyoko, I didn't know you felt the same..." Wait what? She feels the same? When did she feel the same? I had so many questions in my head but they were all taken away by Mahiru hugging me tightly. 

"I love you too, Hiyoko." Said Mahiru while rubbing my head. She pulled me out of the hug and kissed me on the forehead. My face went red again, and I started smiling like an idiot. "You are damn cute when you smile, Hiyoko." Okay my face turned red 100x more than before.

"I love you, Mahiru!"

"I love you too, Hiyoko."

and then they both die
