...but until then, here is want I know it's going to be like.
Like bits and pieces of every romantic movie I watched as a little girl in my room, way past my bedtime; Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, etc .....
Like bits and pieces of the books I've read, Call Me By Your Name, Enigma Variations, and so much more in the quiet lear I call my room; while playing Sufjan Stevens in the background.
You'll take me shopping, and well get dress up and go to places we might cant afford, but f#$k it well exist in the moment. You'll be an amazing dancer, and teach me, because although I love to dance I am terrible; but you won't tell me that, you'll love my dancing and tell me I am the best you have ever seen. You'll hold me close, and we can move to our own rhythm. We will crave the touch of each other, need to be in the same room, to breathe the same air.
Well order cheap pizza and drink expensive bottles of wine, because we can; and shear the love of binge-watching a good series. Well stay up late and analyze the move, because we'll both hove our opinions about it then become tangled with each other. Well be vulnerable with each other, and build trust, so that we can be our naked selves with one another.
In the mornings we'll have our breakfast, with our tea, out on the porch with our favorite book in hand, deep, and lost within the pages, but still craving the touch of the other, so we'll have our feet stretched out, one touching the other.
Throughout the week we will have to leave the house to go to work but will count down the hours till we can meet again. During the weekends we'll be selfish and belong to each other.
We will share the love and passion for the Arts, Food, and the little happy moments in life. You'll be kind, patient, passionate, determined, and so much more.
You'll want to travel the world and try new foods. You would love to read books and swim in the sea. You'll like to stay in on rainy days, and picnics on sunny ones. We would take showers together and won't fall asleep without saying goodnight. Things would be almost perfect...
..... but of course nothings perfect, well have our arguments, our disagreements; but well work through them, you'll be able to admit when you are wrong and I will be able to do the same. It would be our kind of perfect.
Well plan our future, and hope to grow old together. ... but well talk about it, death, the thing no one talks about, but is bound to happen. Well, want the other to know how much one loves the other, that however long we spent together whether it be months 10, 20, 50, or however many years; that those years were well lived because they were there. That the other should live on and be happy because in the next life we will find each other and continue to love each other forever.
So for now promise me this; that you'll "Love me in the now, and forever"...
